Days Inn by Wyndham Cherokee Near Casino

I’m not sure if this hotel is under new ownership, but it is not as clean as it used to be. Also, the room that we stayed in, only had hot water in the shower for about one minute.

1st room we were given was still dirty. 2nd room was clean for the most part with the exception of glitter scattered on the floors. Had to plug in a lamp ouselves to get power by moving the bed. Burn mark on the bedspread, but the bed itself was clean and comfortable with the exception of a few pieces of glitter in the sheets. The worst part was there was hardly any hot water to take a shower.

The inn is an older place centrally located and convenient to restaurants and stores. The ladies I met in the office at check in and out were nice. The parking lot was very well lit as were the beeezeways. The room? Old with paint slapped here and there to try and dress it up. Dimly lit bathroom and sink area. The one chair in the room was badly stained. The comforter in my non smoking room had a very noticeable cigarette burn on it. The softness of the bed linens were something similar to what you might find in jail or prison. However, the room was clean and the king bed was very comfortable. The heater worked well and the tv/ remote was easy to use. There was a cold fridge and a little microwave. If you're looking for a room with a tv and conveniently located the inn was a decent place. If you want anything else you might be disappointed. I stayed by myself, if my wife had been with me I would have caught total Hell from her about the place. The breakfast was good if you want light fare like cereal, waffles and oatmeal. The coffee was good. The dining area was almost nonexistent with two tables. Overall not a bad stay but I probably would let my friends know all this before recommending the inn and if I return again to the area I may find a newer place to stay.

Bed uncomfortable (too high off the floor). AC too loud. Restroom too small. Requires 2 remotes to operate TV.

Outdoor area not so great. Inside was clean and very basic. Breakfast was not a full breakfast, but a very limited continental breakfast and the food area was very small and in mediocre condition.

Barely warm water for showers, only one towel and wash cloth had to go to office for more, ironing board was broken and iron did not heat up. OK for a one night stay, but not for longer.

The room was had a terrible in the bathroom, the mattresses were overwhelming overused- all of them need to be replaced. The overall outside of the building was dirty, trash, cigarette butts everywhere. The phone cord would not stay connected to the phone. Basically, it was a nightmare. It was too cold to relocate to another hotel, so we endured the situation.

Room was clean but there was a cigarette burn in the bedspread. Staff was great. Location is excellent. We'll be back.

Room was adequate for the price I paid, but I was charged on site more than my online invoice, so I'll contact ******* to get a refund
