Hotel M Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai Ancient City
The location is good, with a lot of eatery's nearby. The room was basic without drawers for clothes if you want to unpack to stay for a few day. The bathroom was very squashy, and the toilet paper box was in the way for a bigger size person. The breakfast has limited choices and is the same every day.

1. When booking, there is no note to write to me, whether you want a double bed or a double bed. I didn't care about this until the front desk said that I didn't write this note when I checked in, so they didn't reserve a double bed for me, so when I wanted to move for three consecutive days, he said that I would move twice The room was finally coordinated and waited, and it took him half an hour to get us a twin room without moving the room. Friends who book in the future, remember to write a note, or don't book this kind of hotel with double beds and double beds randomly arranged. 2. The sound insulation is very poor. The person next door sneezed on the balcony. I closed the balcony glass window and could hear it clearly in the room. 3. The light in the cloakroom cannot be turned off. It can only be covered with a black curtain, but the light can still shine through the gap. 4. The place where the shower gel is placed in the bathroom is very narrow. 5. There are fried eggs on the breakfast menu, but the default is sun eggs, so if you have a friend who wants to eat hard-boiled eggs, remember to tell him boiled egg. 5. There are 2 swimming pools which are nice. 6. The attitude of the service staff is very good, the front desk, guest rooms and restaurants. 7. Serve only brunch, not dinner.

Huay Kaew
Breakfast is ok, although simple, but it has everything. It does not provide electric kettle, hairdryer, slippers. Use hot water to fetch water in the breakfast room, and a hair dryer can be borrowed from the front desk. There is a small swimming pool. The surrounding environment is not very good, the road is narrow, there are many cars, and the noise is loud. Especially too close to the airport, every day I lie in bed and listen to countless planes taking off, and the night is not peaceful. Stayed for two nights and moved decisively.
Stay with Nimman Chiang Mai

Nimmanhaemin Road Area
We stayed at this hotel for a few nights for holiday. The hotel is about 6 mins walk to Nimman shopping mall and 10 mins drive to Chiang Mai Old Town. There are a lot of popular cafes in Nimman area. Nimman shopping mall itself is unique with some boutique shops and good restaurants. As a down side, the hotel is facing a road with heavily traffic, so you might need an earplug when sleep. The mattress and pillows are uncomfortably too firm. The breakfast is simple with some delicious Thai dishes which we liked a lot. However bread and coffee selections were a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s not a bad choice as a 3-star hotel if you spend majority of your time outside.
Pingviman Hotel

Chiang Mai Ancient City
We stayed at the Pingviman Hotel in Chiang Mai on our Honeymoon in December. The hotel is in the perfect location and you can access most places quite easily by foot, motorcycle, bicycle or tuk tuk. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. One of the highlights of this hotel was the concierge, Art. He helped us find some incredible activities to do, at really competitive and affordable pricing. We really enjoyed the activities he recommended for us. Something I will say is that the cleanliness could be slightly better and the rooms could use a deep clean post-Covid. Breakfast was also very basic in comparison to some of the other hotels we stayed at in Thailand. Overall is was a lovely stay and hassle-free experience and we would stay here again.

Chiang Mai Ancient City
I stayed at the Lotus Hotel before, so I stayed here on my last night for the convenience of visiting the ancient city. To be honest, at the same price, the facilities, room size and other hardware of this hotel are really inferior to the Lotus Hotel. It's far away, but the service is still good. The room we stayed in was a connecting room, and we didn't know the people in the next room at all. The shower room is so small that you can only stand in the bathtub to take a shower
