Proximity to shopping area, it is perfectly located. The food was good, the only thing perhaps they can improve on is on their wifi connection.

Having reached Accor member elite status 10 years ago, this hotel has to be the worst Novotel we have ever stayed. Having left Novotel in Xian China we arrived tired but early around 08.30 at Novotel Chiang Mai. We knew it was too early to check in so we stored our bags and asked if we could quickly get a cup of coffee in the breakfast room. The answer was yes, but it will be chargeable. After travelling from China from a great Novotel where welcome drinks and early check in was freely available, Novotel Chiang Mai was a massive let down. We refused to have coffee on principle. Whilst we could have taken more pictures of the mouldy and smelling shower plus other parts of our room / the hotel, the picture attached is the view of the glass wall from the bed. All stained with years of water / soap drippings. The hotel smells and is super noisy. The restaurant smells of mould / sewerage every morning. And by the way I had 4 cups of coffee everyday to make up for the shameful act of wanting to charge for a cup of coffee after we had travelled from China Novotel. Shame on Novotel Chiang Mai and shame its management for such a dirty / unwelcoming hotel. Beware do not stay here it is not a true Novotel hotel

This was my first stay at this hotel, and I was truly impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The location is very convenient—just a 5-minute walk to Maya and less than 10 minutes to One Nimman. I also tried the seafood buffet dinner, which was delicious and reasonably priced. The room was comfortable and clean, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.
