Not Recommended Based on My Experience
although the room was generally functional and reasonably clean. The beds and sleeping area were well maintained, and cleanliness was acceptable overall. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing, and I would not choose to stay here again.
- My main concern was the property's unclear policies. We booked a room for three guests, and the reservation was accepted without any issue. However, upon arrival, only two towels were provided. When I asked about this, the staff explained that it was the hotel's policy to provide towels for only two people, even though three guests were allowed to stay in the room. In my opinion, if a room is sold and accepted for three guests, basic amenities should be prepared for all occupants. At the very least, such conditions should be clearly communicated before booking. What made the situation even more confusing was that other amenities, such as toothbrushes, were prepared for all three guests.
When I raised this concern, the response focused on the fact that breakfast had been included. While that may have been intended as compensation, it did not actually address the concern I was asking about.
- The room we stayed in contained two queen-size bed and it felt as though the property was originally designed for two guests but had later increased its occupancy limits to accommodate three or four people without fully adjusting its amenities and service standards accordingly. As a result, the overall experience felt incomplete and inconsistent
- The air conditioning took quite a while to cool the room and there were visible areas where the wall finish was peeling. While these issues did not prevent us from using the room, they were noticeable.
Another point that made me uncomfortable was the requirement to photograph the ID cards of every guest staying in the room. While I understand that different properties may have different procedures, this was unusual compared with my previous hotel experiences and raised some privacy concerns for me.
The bathroom also lacked a proper door and was separated only by a curtain, which may not be suitable for guests seeking additional privacy, especially when sharing the room with family members or friends.
I was also disappointed by the parking arrangements. Had I not contacted the hotel in advance, I would not have known that vehicles needed to enter through the market entrance and avoid taking a parking ticket. I was informed that if a ticket was taken, any parking fees might become the guest's responsibility. This is important information that should be communicated clearly before arrival.
One positive aspect of the property is its location. There is a nearby market, several restaurants within walking distance, and easy access to the local walking street.
Overall, while the room was usable, the service experience, lack of policy transparency, communication issues, and overall guest experience left me disappointed. Based on my personal experience, this was the least satisfactory accommodation of my trip, and I would not recommend it if there are other options available at a similar price point.
