I loved the ambiance. The guesthouse is more than 130 years old the age really shows but you can definitely see the effort of preserving history and embracing modernity. If you plan to stay here for more than a night or two I would suggest you book the private room. Also, bring lots of insect repellent!

Simple shared room. But was clean and nice. Nice terrace at the river and super friendly stuff. If you have a scooter it’s easy to come into the center / old quater

Well kept traditional northern Thai style house. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a shame that the bathroom had lots of fresh cockroach droppings every time I went in

A gem for the adventurous soul willing to get out of their comfort zone. Quite far from the center but easy enough to get around if you hire a bike/ use bolt.

There is a swimming pool, bar, sauna and gym, which are fully equipped. Drinks and meals are only slightly more expensive than outside, which is acceptable. The room is clean and the toilet is clean and has no smell. I will come again.
