Panda House Chiang Mai
3.9/55 Reviews
I was always greeted by Jenny on reception with a warm smile. After enjoying Chiang Mai city for 2 weeks i extended my stay and paid a good price for 2 more weeks. The rooms available are fan only or fan and air conditioning. Although there is no fridge in the rooms there is a communal fridge in reception which is always stocked with ample water, soft drinks and beers all at very cheap prices. My large room had a fan, AC, TV, wardrobe, dresser, king size double bed with very clean bedding, which can be changed upon request. The shower area, although a bit outdated, is still quite adequate. Panda House is located on a no through road, there is hardly any traffic outside and it is exceptionally peaceful considering how close it is to the city. I could take a slow walk to Tha Phae Gate in less than 10 minutes. Nearby Tuk Tuks are easy to flag down; or reception will order a private taxi in a matter of minutes. Panda House does offer a food menu, however there are endless bars and restaurants all within walking distance. I stayed for one month and had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

Instagram Handle : # traveltolalaland Location is near riverside, spacious room, great for family with kids. Staff is helpful and I enjoyed my stay here and will book it again whenever I visit Chiang Mai. Doesn't offer breakfast as of the moment as is the case with other B2s with WakeUp Cafe.

The accommodation is clean, cute, mini-mall style, the cafe looks good, takes beautiful photos, coffee, delicious desserts. It's a place to stay if you want to walk around or go shopping around Tha Phae Gate.

Stayed at the celosia during the festivals in November and really don’t think we could have chosen a better stay. Great service/people and location to experience the incredible energy around these celebrations. Highly recommend.

Wouldn’t recommend, we booked it just because other hotels were full. Staff attitude is average, price is ok but you just feel like you’re in a fight with the hotel as they ask for deposit for the room (some hotels require this) and when we checked out they made us wait so they can make sure we didn’t still anything from the room before returning our deposit. Just felt like they don’t trust their customers and didn’t feel comfortable. The room mentioned a terrace but it was actually 3 square feet with half of the space taken by air condition motor box.

Our family of three booked a triple room for 2 nights and a 4-person room for one night. The indoor facilities are very good, the rooms are large, and the facilities are well designed. A family of three can read books on the single sofa, and the children have a study table and a long sofa. There are many lamps throughout the house to illuminate the reading. There is a microwave oven, a large refrigerator, and tableware, cutlery, bottle opener, etc. in the room. It is convenient to eat some fruits and other foods. There are 24-hour free snacks at the hotel registration desk, which is very warm. It is also not far from Warorot Market and Changkang Night Market. Very quiet in the alley. I feel that the boss should be Japanese, and the details are done very well.
