Chiang Mai Airport Chiang Mai|0.58km from Saturday Market Chiangmai
Wow… where do I even begin. Firstly the hotel exteriors are beautiful. The pool is serene, the designs are lovely and traditional Thai style. The rooms are spacious with a large bed. Very quiet and great sleep even though we were jet lagged. Breakfast is superb, lots of choices even for vegetarians and vegans like us. The location is superb, less than 10 minutes from the airport, right by the old city, walking distance to a couple of night markets. The best part of our stay was the Loy Krathong festivities. We were lucky to be there during the period this year. In the morning the hotel would provide free Krathong making activities with delicious Thai snacks and desserts and in the evening provided food, music, the lucky draw, lantern decorations, and all the Loy Krathong activities. Where we felt the service went above and beyond was during this evening party. We had come to Chiang mai to see our Thai side of our family including our 90 year old grandma who is in a wheelchair. She’s been sick for a while. She as well as our two other family members were allowed to participate and eat and dance for free of charge even though they didn’t have to do that. Furthermore the staff made sure that she had a great time - we haven’t seen yai (Thai word for grandma) this happy in so long especially since she got sick. She was dancing and smiling in the wheelchair! The lady who MC’d as well as the security guard went above and beyond. And all the staff there (there were tens of them!) even waved in a line as her car left. The other members of the family said that we must come back here next year for Loy Krathong so that’s what we will do. Thank you again to all the staff. You made the stay very special, made my family feel emotional.

Most of the hardware facilities are good, but the trash cans in the room and toilet are too small. The overall atmosphere is great, clean and comfortable. Breakfast tastes good too. The pool is also great. The free bicycle rental service is also very good, but it is recommended to pay more attention to the brake problem. The brakes of some bicycles feel a bit loose. The location is very good, quiet and quiet. The only thing that made us uncomfortable was the attitude of the staff. I had paid all the housing payments online in advance, but I was asked to pay an additional deposit of 2,000 baht on site, which shocked us. I have stayed in so many hotels and I have never been asked to pay a deposit. Although the staff was still very polite, what we felt was insincerity and even a bit contemptuous. The staff said they were afraid that we would damage the facilities in the room, so they needed to pay a security deposit, which would be returned to us after we checked out. We still gave us 2,000 yuan, but it caused us inconvenience because we had to go directly to the airport to leave Thailand after checking out, so returning us 2,000 yuan in cash after checking out was very troublesome for us and took up time on our trip. in budget. So the next day we told the staff that please return the cash to us. We can temporarily swipe the card instead. However, when we checked out on the last day, they said that we could not swipe the money back. We need to withhold the two thousand yuan and wait for 14 days. If there is no problem It will be brushed back. We don’t understand again here. If cash can be refunded immediately, why do you have to wait 14 days to swipe a card? We understand that tourists from a certain country may have caused losses to the hotel, which led to your reaction, but it is really uncomfortable for us to face the guests with a suspicious or even contemptuous attitude. Although the staff was very polite and tried their best when explaining Keep smiling, but we can feel the insincerity and discrimination underneath the smile.

Villa Oranje Chiang Mai

Wua Lai Chiang Mai|0.08km from Saturday Market Chiangmai
The property has no elevator in nature. Generally speaking, it is simple, clean and quiet. It is very suitable for friends or couples to travel freely. Not suitable for families with higher requirements. Location: Chiang Mai Gate (more than ten minutes by foot, convenient for daily skewers), near the Saturday night market area (there is a big contrast when there is no night market on weekdays, the streets are almost closed and closed), it is very quiet, I have stayed for a few days if I don’t meet the front desk by chance The guests almost thought that we were the only tenant. Near the Silver Temple, there are people performing singing at the intersection and the grocery area of the Saturday Night Market, and 711 is convenient for shopping. Hygiene: Clean up, go barefoot in the door on the first day (I almost fell in love with barefoot when I came to Chiang Mai), the soles of my feet are white after a long time, and we will clean the door every day for the next few days. Our luggage is a little bit Luan also helped us return to the wall and we tipped but didn't collect it. We made up two bottles of free water every day. There is a safe in the simple wooden closet. The only small regret is that the air conditioner is really not very powerful (there is still cooling but not cooler than 711), but the fan is really useful, and the lack of power of the air conditioner is almost a normal thing in daily life in Chiang Mai, so It's okay to get used to it. Just when I felt that there must be enough air-conditioning to cool down quickly, I found that the hot water for bathing is worth all the shortcomings. So I still recommend it, it's simple and clean, it's suitable for rest and relaxation. The owner is a foreigner with a cute little daughter, who often meets them sitting in the yard, watering the lawn or something. As for the mosquito, it was mentioned in various reviews of various hotels before I came to Thailand, but after I came, I didn't encounter a mosquito no matter where I lived. So the anti-mosquito water you bring is completely useless.

Good location, 5 min walk away from Chiang Mai Gate. Pretty quiet area with shops, services and restaurants nearby. Clean rooms, good room service & WIFI, mini fridge & kettle, hot shower, little terrace, sufficient space inside the bathroom. Breakfasts were OK, a little bit monotonous at times however the staff deserves some credit. They tried their best, always smiling, efficient and helpful. Straight forward check in / check out. A few things to improve: Add a wardrobe inside each bedroom, more hangers inside the bathroom, foreign TV channels and softer pillows would be amazing. None of those things (missing) bothered us too much though. Overall a very pleasant stay in Casa Vespa Wua Lai. Recommended and happy to stay here on our next visit :)

We had a familyroom with pool view. The pool was very cold but we enjoyed a refreshing dip. Breakfast is good and drinks and snacks are available all day! Personel is very willing to help. We would like to come back when in CM.

Very good for those who like capsule type hotels. Nice private space in airconditioned rooms, with 14 beds each. Two shower places with hot water. Drinking water and wifi available free of charge. No lift, so have to walk up the stairs, rather steep! Owner lady is very helpful and available most of the day. She comes in early. Microwave and Coffee maker available for warming your food. Very good for a budget stay near all the shopping and eating places. Good public transport available to get around.

Large and clean suites for a reasonable price Hotel is well located, just outside the old city. Convenient transportation to the airport.
Nuan Boutique Hotel

Breakfast, whilst limited was much better than much larger hotels, everyday it was very very good. Location was excellent and the reason we selected Nuan was because it was right on the doorstep of Wua Lai night market and a stones throw from Chiang Mai South Gate and its excellent early morning market. Lunch and night meals also easily obtained from outside the same market. Swimming pool was tiny and afforded no shade and air con occasionally leaked a little, ensuite had no bench space, staff had very limited English (but I do not expect everyone to speak my language - I am in a foreign speaking country after all!), other than this nothing to complain about. Pro's far outweighed the cons and we would definitely stay here again.
