Arrival & Check-in:
The arrival was not good. There was no one present at the reception, and the lobby was dirty. The only instruction provided was to contact them via WhatsApp, which we did since we luckily already had an eSIM. We were then simply told to take the card with our room number and go to the fourth floor.
Accessibility & Comfort:
There is no air conditioning in the stairwell at all, making it extremely hot when going up. There is also no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up four floors in the heat after a long journey, which was very exhausting and frustrating.
Room & Facilities:
The door was very difficult to open. We had to communicate remotely to figure out how to access the room, as the door system does not function properly. You need to lift the door while holding the key card to get it open, and the same is required to lock it. This would not be a major issue if it had been explained to us beforehand.
The bathroom itself was clean and nice, especially the shared bathroom facilities.
Cleanliness:
Unfortunately, there were cockroaches in the room, which makes it impossible to describe the hotel as clean, especially for the price. It was not a budget hostel, and compared to other budget hotels in Chiang Rai, which had no such issues, this was disappointing.
Location:
The location is close to the bus station, but the surrounding area consists of very poorly maintained buildings.
