GGuest UserAlthough the journey to Chiang Rai was quite long, staying at this hotel made everything completely worth it. The moment we arrived, we felt so relaxed and happy. The service was excellent, and my boyfriend and I truly enjoyed every moment here.
Honestly, you don’t even feel like leaving the hotel. For dinner, we had Italian cuisine at the hotel, and it was absolutely delicious. We even got to enjoy a beautiful sunset while dining – such a perfect and memorable experience.
The highlight for me was definitely the spa. It was incredibly comfortable and relaxing, one of the best parts of our stay. I really wish we could have stayed one more night!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is lovely, the room were modern & the beds are comfy. Our room comes with nice bathtub with a nice river view. The staffs are very accommodating. Hotel is nearby the blue temple & there is also nice restaurants nearby. The swimming pool & gym are great. The breakfast in the hotel have a good spread of food. Overall a nice place to relax & consider for a short staycation with families & friends👍

CCharlieDenI am writing to the guest, not the hostel. The hostel is nice and everything. However, there was one foreign guest(looks like an east European)that insisted of switching off the A/C, despite the 30 Celsius degree hot weather. At night it was 25 Celsius but the room was still humid and hot as it has no open window (or the mosquito would fly in). I tried to switch the A/C on at night, but somehow the guest found a way to switch it back off(twice). If it’s for environmental sake, I don’t know whether the guest flew or walked to Thailand. If it’s just for one’s comfort, please TRY TO BE CONSIDERATE because others have paid for an A/C room just as you did. You have no right to switch it off for others, it’s hard to sleep at such humid warm nights.
I admit that i was not persistent enough to switch the A/C back on again and again. I also didn’t want to bother the hostel staff about changing dormitory as it was quite packed with guests. I didn’t confront with that guest because since she managed to switch it back off twice, I didn’t think she cared enough to compromise anyway. I just want to leave a reminder here, please be considerate. 🙏🏼

GGuest UserWhat a great find in Chiang Rai. We normally stay at the golden pine resort and that offers great value but I wanted to try something else.
Other similar properties were and still are a bit over priced and i seek out the best overall value accommodation. Not the cheapest though. We usually stay one to foUr weeks so it needs to be right.
The hotel is at the third bridge up the kok river with easy access by road. The river front location is very quiet and peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery. I spent some time by myself just relaxing and the food service provided by the restaurant is good value as well.
We had a two bedroom suite with every living area, two bathrooms and another serviette toilet as well. The included breakfast is more Thai style but adequate with a fair amount of choice.
Overall I would give it a good solid 4-4.5/5.

GGuest UserPros: Close to a community area, with restaurants, convenience stores, a market, and a beer garden all within walking distance. Easy to find, located on the main road.
Cons: The bed is extremely hard, even when I lay down on it, my knees hurt. Sleeping is painful. There are very few power outlets, only two of them are two-holes (not three-holes). There are cobwebs and spiders near the sink. The headboard has blackout curtains, no blackout curtains. It's bright at 6 a.m. The air conditioner compressor is loud and vibrates, requiring earplugs to sleep. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. I saw a bag of sticky rice and grilled pork. I asked to take it, but the staff refused, saying I had to eat at the hotel. In short, I didn't get breakfast at the hotel because I had to leave in a hurry.

The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with wood & minimal style. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this gem to budget-conscious travelers and anyone seeking a truly authentic local experience.

L'hôtel lui-même est joliment décoré avec des accents de bois chaleureux 🥰 et possède une atmosphère chaleureuse et accueillante. Je recommande vivement ce petit bijou aux voyageurs soucieux de leur budget et à tous ceux qui recherchent une véritable expérience locale.

GGuest UserLocation is good, quite neighborhood, halal ( Muslim) food available, laundry service near by, mosque (muslim prayer center) near by. Rooms are clean decent size but they need to add some amenities , side table with reading lamp, no chair, no water cattle, no hand towel, instead of giving paper water cup, glass for drinking water would be great. In room tea coffee would be great as the town is almost dead by 7pm.
Please also add some kind egg (boiled is easy) with breakfast.

DDon林Like a little sparrow, the amenities are equipped. If one is doable with common bathrooms/toilets, this is excellent. The flooring is well varnished with good grade epoxy and feel good on the soles. Boom the inn-keeper is meticulous in cleanliness and helpful with guests' request. I recommend travellers that are not too picky.

GGuest UserI arrived from Chiang Mai tired and stressed. So it was nice to find the Ben Guesthouse offered a nice respite with good amenities. I appreciated the hot water pressure and cleanliness of my room. There are also some great restaurants and cafes close by.
