one of the best place hotels in the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area. nearest hotel to the shuttle bus and 7/11. room seem have been renovated recently and not as bad as what other customer reviewed. stayed there in late November and was told heating system would be only ON from9pm. hotel has no restaurant so breakfast vouchers were given to redeem at another Chinese restaurant near shops

Staff were friendly and helped with our requests but the rooms were cold. Sound insulation was bad. Location was good. You would need to walk out to another restaurant to take your breakfast.

There is a tour bus group accommodation on the day of check-in, and the hotel has separated the guests. For dinner, I have bought very affordable local takeout noodle stew at a stall near the bus stop, and there is also a convenience store where I could buy food for my next-day mountain hike. The best and key part of the stay has been the photo-taking opportunities at sunrise and sunset, not forgetting the cats in their “cat cafe” outside the restaurant.
