"Great stay here! Good value for Alishan. Location was fine, relatively close to Shizhuo and Fenqiqhu by car and close to a 7/11. It’s tricky to reach by public transport, you’ll most likely need a car. Advice would be to go to Hotel Indigo and drive up from there, it’s narrow but fine. The double room was lovely, really relaxed and cute. Staff are direct but helpful, not much English but very helpful with any questions. Ask her for the location to go to for sunset, it was AMAZING, about 10 mins drive from the b&b. We missed sunrise due to clouds but the sunset made up for it. The breakfast was good with good variety for Alishan, coffee excellent. It’s a chill “cabin in the woods” vibe"

"I am very satisfied. I stay here almost every month. But this is the first time I booked using the trip.com app. When I checked in, the receptionist looked confused when I said that I had booked through the app. I waited for about 20 minutes outside before I could enter. But because I am used to staying here, I didn't mind. I added 2 hours, but the voucher cannot be used on the app and for additional time. So my voucher from last month was wasted. But it's okay, I really enjoyed my break."

"The hotel is newly renovated and very modern and clean. It is about 6-7 deg at night in Alishan and the hotel bed has electric blankets which kept us very warm. The location which is just a 2 min walk to the main Alishan train station and restaurant area is fantastic if you want to see the famous Alishan sunrise. The staff provided good tips and made sure we knew where to catch our bus to Sun Moon Lake. Note there is no kettle in the room but there is cold and hot water dispenser on each floor. There is also no fridge in the room but you can use the common fridge on the first floor. Will highly recommend this hotel!"

It's definitely worth staying two nights to leisurely enjoy the Alishan experience."

"The hotel itself is nice. We got a room with beautiful view. However, the location was VERY inconvenient to go to Alishan and to come back to the hotel. There are limited local buses ( only four schedule buses) to go and from Alishan to Fengqihu but you can’t get into the buses because the bus is full 🙄. We had to hire local taxi to go back to our hotel from Alishan. The taxi fare is very expensive and you can’t really Uber. I would recommend the hotel to have shuttle buses to and from Alishan for their guests. Otherwise, I would recommend you to drive or stay at Alishan."

Not only did she greet us warmly at the entrance, but she also meticulously explained the hotel's surroundings, including sunrise times and the direction to view the sea of clouds from our room. Her biggest help was recommending some excellent, high-value restaurants and providing tips on what to look out for when visiting Alishan National Park. Wow! The breakfast on the second morning was incredibly rich, and from the outdoor terrace, we could enjoy a breathtaking mountain view. I would highly consider staying here again on my next visit to Alishan."
