酒店距離景區很近，開車幾分鐘就到了。家庭酒店，有活魚吃味道鮮美，價格參照標準四星級酒店的。訂的麻將房，較大，空調效果好。鎮中心車多，早晨房間有噪聲。老闆似乎經營偏重餐飲，毛利率高，但就是不供應住客最希望有的或許毛利率較低的早餐。卻對客房衞生要求太低，例如毛巾異味嚴重，櫃玻璃上灰塵很厚，漱口杯污垢明顯，等等。讓人無法繼續入住。

住宿便宜，但條件欠佳，沒辦法（這家可能還算比較好的）。
在赤壁鎮找不到像樣的民宿酒店，最好的赤壁驛館在停業裝修。
到古戰場遊覽，若想住宿好，還是住赤壁市（縣城）吧
