Holiday Inn - Chicago Dwtn - Wolf Point, an IHG Hotel

Interesting holiday in the heart of downtown. You enter via the lobby for an apartmen building. Apparently the revolving doors to the hotel were 'broken'. There is a check-in desk -- that is manned sporadically. then you go around the corner, passed the escaloator going down, and to the elevators to the 15th floor. Another lobby and desk there - plus restaurant, snack shop / deli and full bar. This floor is nice with a big interior atrium. Then more elevators up to floors 19-23 where the rooms are. The room was nice - though the A/C was set to 66 when I arrived, and it had just got done snowing. Cranked the heat up, and came back to a toasty room. Think is - it never shut off -- so it was either HOT or COLD. And noisy the whole time. Never got time to file a complaint, as most days when I left in the AM, there was no one at the 15th floor desk, and the check-in desk was always busy. My room was clean-ish, though I did find a bottlecap under the desk when I went looking for a stray sock, and there were 2 unopened beers and a half-drunk YooHoo in the fridge. The fridge is tiny - like smaller than those small college fridges. Elevators: quick and clean Staff: friendly and helpful Location: near lots Price: on gov't orders, but they seemed reasonable Cleanliness: good Towels and linens: Nice, clean and comfortable View: Mine stunk Would recommend: Yes Would re-patronize: Maybe
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Chicago - Downtown, an IHG Hotel

This time it was quite unexpected. I have lived a few times in the previous holiday inn. The room card went to the front desk for three times. When I was sleeping at night, someone actually opened my room. Later, the waiter also opened, and finally confirmed the check-in information the day before yesterday. In addition, when I checked in, I got 50 knives. I originally paid the money through Ctrip. I don't know if I will return later! Is it not a deposit?

O'Hare
It is very close to the airport, a little more than walking distance, and it costs 30 dollars for Uber to come here in the early morning. The hotel is equipped with a special car to send you to the airport, at midnight on the hour, and during the day when it is busy, it is basically half an hour. Sleeping conditions are good. Pay attention to the shower head to the bottom, which is basically a 360-degree opening range. Praise!
