The location is good, the service is average, and the Japanese food on the 11th floor is worth trying. It is very convenient to go anywhere in Chicago, and it is close to the lake, shopping, and eating.

Positives: - The concierge (Michel Battaglin) is amazing! We are so grateful for all of his help during our one night stay. We were very kindly upgraded to an amazing room to ensure that we had connecting rooms with our kids. - The rooms are fantastic. Modern / clean and beautiful views of the river / Navy Pier. - The pool is very family friendly. Many kids and warm enough for parents. This was a very fun experience for our kids. One of the best hotel pools in the city of Chicago. - Tre Dita was good. Not amazing, but very solid. Very family friendly. Negatives: - We parked with the valet at the hotel. When we picked up our car the next day, the car had been hit in the back. We notified the valet service who was helpful in taking pictures and filing the claim. However, the valet service insurance company claims that they are not responsible with no further detail (picture of the damage attached). This is now $2,000-$3,000 damage to our car with no ramification. We would have been better off parking in a Spothero self-parking lot near the hotel. Lesson learned. - Breakfast at Miru is ok. It is not a traditional breakfast or buffet. This makes it harder for kids. We will likely be back, but will avoid the valet at all costs.

Staying at the St. Regis Chicago was an unforgettable experience—truly deserving of a 6-star rating! From the moment I arrived, everything was flawless. The hotel exudes luxury and sophistication at every turn. The room was massive, impeccably designed, and incredibly well-appointed with every amenity you could possibly need. It was the perfect blend of comfort and elegance, making it a sanctuary to relax in after exploring the city. The real highlights, however, were the dining experiences. Both breakfast and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant were nothing short of spectacular. The food was exquisite, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure every meal was perfect. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly set this hotel apart. I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to return. The St. Regis Chicago offers a level of service and luxury that is second to none. Highly recommended!

Very nice experience. Erika the housekeeping manager and Ryu at the front door were so great/helpful, and a material part of making it an excellent time for the family for the week. You can see the Navy Pier fireworks from the hotel/from our room (I think W and Sat). The location is particularly central to a range of things we like—the Art Institute, jazz club, Michigan Ave shopping, and some of our favorite food spots.

This St Regis is TOP CLASS! The front desk especially (Iryna) had amazing service. Checking was seamless and the rooms are spotless and clean. They accommodated myself and my children very well. The restaurants are 6 Star and I appreciate the FREE Car Service for 2 mile rides.

Stayed as a family of 4 with young children over the summer. We have Marriott status and used points for our 4 night stay. Service and hospitality was not 5 star. Never saw or heard from our butler. We even got an OOO email from them. Called butler service for a steamer and it didn’t arrive all day, had to call them again for it to be delivered the next morning. The room service staff was very friendly. The valets were amazing. Gabriel specifically was so so kind and acknowledged our children every time. The concierge never looked up from his desk and never greeted us when we walked past. St Regis boasts its family experiences and special things they do for kids. None of that happened for us. Overall a very nice room & hotel. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Room service food was nothing spectacular. The hospitality was not 5 star.

I had read about the negative reviews of the front desk staff before coming here, but didn't know I would face the same. The person at the front desk during morning hours is extremely rude. Each request of mine was not just denied but rudely responded to. I won't say everyone in this hotel is bad because other staff members at night were accommodative and kind, but this front desk employee in the morning shift is spoiling the name of this beautiful hotel. People working in Hospitality industry should know how to behave with customers. When I asked this guy's name, he refused to give it because he knew how he was behaving with me. This was definitely my worst Marriott experience. If you are coming here for your next stay, do not expect the staff to go above and beyond even if you have a status with Marriott. These guys just do not care...

It started with arrival at the hotel which is a beautiful architectural marvel. Then upon leaving our taxi the valet staff greeted us warmly and opened doors like clockwork. Very friendly, helpful and professional front desk and concierge staff throughout the visit. House Range Rover drove me to my conference every day. Restaurants and other amenities on site were beautiful.
