Overall we had a great stay at the hotel. The location, although it appears on google maps to be a little outside of the city centre, is actually very convenient. There are several bus lines that will get you to the city centre (which for me, means the DuSable bridge) in less than 10 minutes.
A couple of things to note. To access the free WiFi you need to have a Bonvoy account (free to create)
Regarding the breakfast, Trip.com seems to display inverted information. It was available Monday to Friday in the 1600 Club (lower floor of the hotel) but IS NOT available on a weekend.

They told me they are going to return our money back because they could not provide with room and send us to another hotel. They told they will pay for the stay they had to return our money back but I did not receive back

Hotel itself was gorgeous and in a great location. Service was not what I was used to from Marriott brand hotels.

The room was upgraded and was nice and spacious. The location is right in front of Millennium Park, so it's great for exploring downtown Chicago 👍🏻

I liked that it was a convenient boutique property with wonderful ambiance and great customer service. Nice restaurant for indoor dining with great food and service as well.
What I didn’t like was that I was charged two separate rates one higher than the other for a two night stay. Due to having booked with a third party. I wasn’t aware the rates had jumped up the second night until I checked out. I felt the third party should have been more upfront about that.

Stayed on the 6th floor by the fitness centre - walls are like paper so could hear the weights falling - plus dissatisfied at check in there was nobody to help with luggage to our room and had to do everything ourselves - certain staff were very unhelpful in that aspect. Otherwise generally clean and well presented hotel and rooms with comfortable bed and spacious rooms. Location is prime for access to millennium park, Michigan Ave and Chicago River

It was a convenient location but the shower didn’t work and I stayed only one night. When I mentioned it at checkout there was no attempt made to make it right by a voucher for a future stay or discount.

Shower head would not put out hot water, but they came and fixed. Be prepared to spend $150 a night as a deposit. Our 4 night stay was $600 plus $600 for the deposit. The deposit was actually more than the hotel stay.
