Hotels in Chicago are usually pricey during the summer graduation season, so this one seemed like a good deal. However, I was surprised to find that the room had just been renovated and was missing furniture – no desk or chairs. I called down for two chairs, but only one was delivered, and still no desk. That was a bit unexpected.

I booked this hotel out of convenience of location to the C2E2 expo. I paid A L O T. PROS:The front desk were hepful & friendly. Check out was Noon, which is later than most. I did like the full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, & lotion. The room was clean but... CONS: the sheets & bedspread were so thin. It felt & sounded like we were sleeping on newspapers. I could hear every other room using their sink, tub, or toilet. I get the hotel charges more during conventions/shows, but other than location (in my instance) it IS NOT worth $300+ per night

It's very close to the convention center, and you can walk to Haidilao. The surrounding natural environment is great. The room facilities are old, but at least you can watch the World Cup. Breakfast is available in both à la carte and buffet styles!
