The girl on reception was so lovely, I believe she was called Jess. She helped me instantly with my inquiry and was very friendly. I appreciated her help so much, she was so kind and welcoming as well, so thank you very much to Jess for your help :)

Had a wonderful weekend here, was looked after by a very lovely girl named Emma who was always very kind, smiley and happy to help! Alice was also very polite and sweet. The service was exceptional, we ate in the restaurant, the steak and peri peri chicken were delightful. Overall a great stay and great staff

This hotel has seen much better days I’m afraid….it’s grubby inside, my bathroom was awful with yellow stains on the toilet seat underneath 🤢, the air conditioning in the room was useless, the lighting in the room was poor and so on, you get the idea. I have to say that the staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful, but other than that, this is a hotel to avoid.

Accessible rooms only lowered bath, hopeless for those who cannot stand or walk. Wet rooms required which is standard in most major hotel chains. Breakfast service poor as was the quality of food. No coffee as the coffee machine was on a cleaning cycle for almost 30 minutes. Are we going back, ABSOLUTELY NOT

The food was really good, I opted for the gammon steak and the restaurant was tidy and quiet. Great work from Kelly and Emma serving in the restaurant and bar. Overall would recommend for an affordable, convenient meal if staying or travelling through like myself.

The hotel stay itself was consistent with what I've come to expect from Premier Inn. A clean, tidy room, with a comfy bed, at a decent price. However, breakfast was another matter. Breakfast was chaos. We pre-paid for breakfast when we booked the room. We were told on check-in that the hotel was busy so we should book a table for breakfast. We did, for 9:30. We got there at 9:30, it took until 9:40 to get to the front of the queue, despite there only being two tables to seat in front of us, and us being able to see plenty of seating available. We were told that there was a 15-20 minute wait for cooked breakfasts. We waited, and finally placed our order at 10:00. We heard lots of other people complain that their breakfasts were being brought out incomplete, and that it had taken ages to receive them. Another table was getting up to leave as their breakfast arrived. At 10:45, we walked out, as we still hadn't received our breakfast. I asked the manager for a refund for the breakfasts we'd pre-paid for, and I was told we'd get one, but it could take several weeks as there was a backlog of refund requests! The staff we spoke to were all friendly and we felt were doing their best given the situation, but the breakfast service let the whole stay down. We ended up stopping at a motorway services for breakfast, where we were served immediately, and it was cheaper than Premier Inn's breakfast to boot!

We arrived before 3pm to see if our room was ready which it wasn’t, but we were able to leave bags safely and come back later which was helpful. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and it was nice to have plenty of Bayliss and Harding shower gel and hand wash to use. Biscuits would have been a nice extra touch to go with the tea and coffee and a duvet protector. Our room was near to a stair way so I did wonder about potential noise in the night but it wasn’t a problem in the end, also the hotel backs onto the bypass, but the windows were so good you barely realised. The hotel is in an ideal location with lots of eateries around and not too far from the city centre. Would I use this hotel again? Yes

I booked a Premier Plus room on this visit. However, apart from a coffee machine there didn’t seem to be much difference from a standard room. Same size bathroom, slightly more room space & an area to work. However, NO WI-FI! I was told it was a problem during my visit & some guests were able to receive Wi-Fi. I needed to do some work & had to leave the hotel & find other places to work. Also. I didn’t realise you had to request room service - so returned to room to unmade bed, full bins, wet towels, no spare loo roll. So all in all paying for an upgrade gave me no ‘plusses’ at all.
