Hotel Diamond

I have stayed here many times over the years and our experience is always a good one. Within walking distance to a lot of local spots and the attached restaurant is always a plus, I look forward to my next stay.

All about location. Right downtown Chico. Always a good stay at the Diamond. Full breakfast included. Coffee was real good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The restaurant and bar staff were also amazing and we had such a great experience overall! Definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful hotel. The Grill has excellent food, although a little pricey. Great location to the college.

Great location for attending CSU events and in downtown. Parking easy. Ate breakfast twice. Scrambled eggs, french toast, fruit salad. Nothing fancy but cooked to order and satisfactory. There are a lot of good breakfast places nesrby including Moms which makes for lots of table availability. $1 mimosas with meal. Bar drinks and wine good. With both restaurant and bar, don’t be in a hurry.

This hotel is an affordable gorgeous oasis of historical re-creation of early life in Chico, CA. It’s within walking distance of shops, restaurants, Bidwell Park, and the beautiful campus of Chico State. I was in room 209 which allowed me to see my vehicle in the parking structure through my window. The room was warm because the AC struggled to keep the air cool, but I put the AC on 62 degrees with a high fan speed and it kept things comfortable most of the time.

Check in was easy, the food at the restaurant was great and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Always my got to in Chico. Fantastic rooms and prime for walking everywhere.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was kind. The breakfast was delicious. The problem was noise. Room 214 was so impacted by music playing nearby, that the bed vibrated with bass sounds. Earplugs did nothing to suppress the sound. The music did not stop until after 1:30 am. It was not a room that could be used for sleep. When I stepped out of the room I could still hear the noise down the entire hallway of the second floor. The staff felt the music was coming from a nearby establishment. I would not recommend the second floor or a weekend night if you want to sleep.
