This is a stylish hotel, scant minutes from the Plaza Mayor. The grande dame after whom the property is named is on the right as you enter. The public areas are well kept. The salon area is every bit as nice as any seen in any parador I stayed in on this trip. The back courtyard area impresses. Staff were efficient. A map was offered. The room was of adequate size. The air conditioning/heating system was simple to operate. Bathroom items were in plastic. There is on site, underground parking for a fee [around eight euros]. The breakfast was fine but the coffee machine was not fully operational. You were given tongs and a plastic glove. Several places around the hotel re hand gel. Hard to believe this is only a three star hotel.

Excellent location. Méndez Álvaro station is three blocks away and the line that takes you to the airport stops right there. The only issue is the outlet type. Only European, so bring your own adaptors. The bathroom has no real door. You close the shower and the toilet is open. Other than that, the hotel is really good. They lend you a hairdryer for free, have hot water, and the staff were extremely kind and nice. I definitely recommend this place.

Al llegar nos recibió, María José, quizás la recepcionista mas Pizpireta de todo Toledo, nos explicó de maravilla todas las cuestiones de nuestra habitación sin perder la sonrisa (nosotros venimos de Euskadi, donde la amabilidad hace años que brilla por su ausencia, no la conocemos de hecho). Aparte alquilamos una habitación ”normal” o eso pensaba yo, para tres días, y nos dieron la Suite ”Madrid” que decir, una maravilla, Enormeeee, sala, recepción, Jakuzzi y demás chucherías. Luego; y eso si que nos sorprendió, en la habitación había una botella de cava con hielo como bienvenida, debo decir, que hemos estado en México (5* superior) Habana (5* Grand Lujo) Rep. Dominicana (5* Super Exclusive) Venezuela... y ninguno, repito ninguno ha hecho esto, (hoteles de miles de euros las 7 noches), y en un Hotel de un pueblo de Toledo ”zasca” sorpresa!!, mi mujer y yo no dábamos crédito, nos pareció de lo mas curioso, de hecho en Baradero en el Iberostar Gran Lujo todo incluido ”me cobraron por una botella de vino de muy malos modos (no volveré jamás) (50€) porque decían que no entraba (estafa!, como no, era Cuba!!!), habiendo solo dado un sorbo jajaja, en fin que nos llamó la atención. Luego tienen un pequeño restaurante atendido por un camarero vestido de ***** con gafas, super super super, Profesional y la comida una pasada, solo decir que tardan un poquitín (pero se entiende porque la comida es otro nivel), quedamos tristes porque no pudimos probar mas platos de la carta, por cuestión de tiempo, El desayuno un Self Service normal de toda la vida de Dios, lo dicho señores una joya en bruto perdida en mitad de una especie de polígono industrial del pueblo de Yuncos al lado del majestuoso Toledo.

El hotel es nuevo y el personal se esfuerza por dar un buen servicio. Camas cómodas y habitaciones aisladas. Viajamos con persona en silla de ruedas y el hotel está totalmente adaptado. El hotel está en un polígono y no hay nada cerca. No ofrecen comidas salvo unos bocadillos. Este es un tema en el que deben mejorar. En el baño también deberían poner algo más de luz . En general una estancia agradable para pasar un día de tránsito.

I loved the treatment of the staff, both the girl and the boy the next day. We did not lack anything, it is perfect for events or for work groups that need to rest for a couple of days. The cleanliness is perfect, everything is disinfected and there are no ”bugs”, like in some 5-star hotels;). At the reception, you have a breakfast buffet, they have everything, it's great for the price you pay. You also have water, coffee or infusions 24 hours a day, all at the Nestlé brand reception, the coffees are very good. The bed is huge, very comfortable, and high. On each side of the bed there are lamps that are perfect for reading. The TV is super, all the channels and perfect. Our window is quite high and not very big, perfect for children, because they can't reach it. They have air conditioning that works perfectly. The shower is flush, they have two shower heads, one huge fixed and the other small so you can use it as you like. The shower is glassed and has a small door, so the water does not escape. Perfect dryer, soap and gel with dispenser. The only thing I didn't like was the location, although it is a quiet place, too much, it doesn't match how good it is. It is located in an, as I would say, industrial estate, that is, there are warehouses, car houses... in that style. The truth is that then you go out for a walk and you arrive in Alcorcón in no time, in 15 minutes, you don't even need to rent a car, so if you don't mind walking, you can do it there. and you don't get tired because it's flat. Of course, there are some parks nearby, great. But don't expect to come down from the hotel and have something to eat, because there is nothing.

We stayed at the Ayre Gran Hotel Colon for one night recently. We arrived quite early not expecting the room to be ready but hoping to be allowed to change somewhere because we had a lunchtime reservation. The man on reception checked us in and gave us a room without an issue so we could settle in and get changed comfortably. He also gave us a map and was nice and friendly. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size. There were two small complimentary bottles of water in the mini bar. The window cannot be opened unless you ask at reception which I don't like. However it was a big window which made the room nice and light and airy. Breakfast was way too expensive at 20 euros or 16 if booked in advance. We got breakfast for two people for half that price outside the hotel. There is a nice looking bar at the hotel and I believe they do food too. I would stay there again but would look out for cheaper advance booking prices.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean and quiet. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Beds were large and comfortable. Room was large as well. Just what we needed for an overnight stay before flying home.

Perfect!! Highly recommended! Friendly and attentive staff to satisfy requests. New and very clean structure, close to the Sainz de Baranda metro. Room studied in every detail, many sockets, welcome kit, kettle and coffee machine, very comfortable and huge bed. Even iron and ironing board!! Perfect in every detail!!
