Tateshina Tokyu Hotel

The room was spacious and clean. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese or Western food. The open-air bath is about a 5-minute walk from the main building, but it was spacious and nice.

On a sunny day during the rainy season, my wife, my wife's friend, and her family used it. The view of the Karamatsu forest and the pond from the room was wonderful. I had French food for dinner. It was delicious. For breakfast, you could choose Western or Japanese food. Salads, fruits, and drinks are served buffet style. There is a large public bath outside the building. This is a simple weak alkaline spring. My skin has become smooth. There are cottages nearby, vacation rentals, tennis courts, restaurants, field athletics, trekking courses, and more.

I visited again now that the coronavirus pandemic has subsided. The view through the window from the stately room was spectacular during the autumn leaves, but it also has a picturesque feel even in early spring. The interior is spacious and has ample storage, making it ideal for multiple nights (however, please be sure to clean bay windows and other areas that cannot be seen). Dinner (French) in a calm dining room is traditional, with no unusual ingredients. I also felt comfortable and at the right distance from the staff (I am especially grateful to the guide who gave me information about the cherry blossoms in Takato). On the other hand, it's a shame that you have to go outside (2-3 minutes walk) to another facility to soak in the hot springs (which are wonderful and moisturize your skin). The overall atmosphere is profound and calm, and you will forget the passage of time just by strolling through the garden or sitting in the large chair in the room and looking outside. Thanks to you, I was able to relax very much.

On this trip, after completing two vaccinations, I took infection control measures (avoid close contact and carefully selected outdoor tourist spots) before leaving. It's been a long time since I've visited Tateshina Tokyu Hotel, but it's a historic hotel that's already in its 41st year, and it's a hotel with only 20 rooms where you can fully enjoy a sense of privacy. It was cool in the lingering summer heat, and cold in the mornings and evenings. The window of the room faces south overlooking the private garden, and the scenery and atmosphere of the plateau of the garden rich in nature is very nice. This place where the hotel stands is located in a complex resort business facility nestled in the forest of Tateshina, a Tokyu resort town managed by Tokyu Land Corporation at the foot of Yatsugatake, 1300m above sea level, about 30 minutes by shuttle bus from JR Chino Station. It is another world of dreams that appeared in Adjacent to the hotel, there is the latest glamping taste outdoor grill “Glamorous Dining Tateshina” produced by Tokyu Hands, and the French outdoor park “Forest Adventure Tateshina” that coexists with nature. It also has a golf course, tennis courts, and an observation trekking course, so you can enjoy a set of traditional and classic hotels. I was able to spend quality time walking around the beautifully landscaped hotel garden and savoring the cuisine unique to Shinshu. All of the facilities have taken strict measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, so I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. The food was delicious, and the timing was good, and it was over the partition in the corona wreck, but it was a very satisfying dish. One thing that bothers me is that there is no large public bath facility in the Tateshina Tokyu Hotel both last time and this time, so I used "Spa Resort Kayama no Yu" attached to Hotel Harvest Tateshina near the entrance of the hotel. I can, but it's about 2-3 minutes from the hotel, but I feel inconvenient that I have to go out in plain clothes. There is also a church attached to the hotel, and weddings are held on Saturdays and Sundays. There is also a cottage twin in the separate building where you can stay with your pet, which is attractive. Sometimes I took off my mask and immersed myself in nature, which was very satisfying. Next time I want to stay in a different season ♪ It was such an inn.

I always run across the first floor of this hotel and run around the Karamatsu Pond in the back. This time, the three of us had a tea break at the cafe corner next to the fireplace. A long-established highland hotel that celebrated its 50th anniversary. I feel so good. The waitress was also very kind and considerate.

I arrived a little early, but they kindly guided me around. When I entered the lobby, the first thing I noticed was the smell of wood burning in the fireplace, which was very relaxing. The outside view from the lobby was also wonderfully impressive. The room was clean and I liked how simple it was. The location from the window was also great. The restaurant staff were polite and kind, and the food was delicious. I would definitely like to stay there again.

Although it is an old hotel, it is kept clean and has a rather calm appearance, making it the type of classic hotel I like. The bonfire in the lounge has the comfort of a highland hotel. The large white birch garden and pond that can be easily accessed from the lounge will make you feel like you are in a resort. Our room faced this view, so we could enjoy the open feeling of the plateau even when we were indoors. The windows can be opened a little, so you can enjoy the sounds of birds. There is also an open-air bath in the hot spring facility in a separate building from the hotel, and although it's a little uphill, it's just a short walk away, so I decided to take advantage of it. There are buses, but it wasn't far enough to take a bus. However, since it is used by people other than hotel guests, it felt a little different from the calm atmosphere of a hotel, but it is nice to have a variety of entertainment options. There was also an indoor hot spring pool. Reserve a course meal at the restaurant. I have a mild food allergy that I didn't need to tell them in advance, but once I told them about it, they took care of it on the spot, and I regret that I should have told them in advance, even if it was mild. Enjoy seasonal menus that use a variety of mushrooms. For breakfast, the price at ********** was cheaper than paying on-site, so it was a good idea to choose a plan that included breakfast. There is a shop, but it is not a convenience store and closes early, so if you want to enjoy the drip coffee or tea prepared in your room with a kettle, don't forget to buy mineral water. There was nothing in the refrigerator in the room. It seems that there are Tokyu Resort Tateshina's facilities next to the site, such as an athletic field, a fishing pond, and an outdoor BBQ restaurant, but I ended up not using them at all as there was no particular guidance as it was the off-season. I would have liked to check this out during the summer season, but I thought the calm atmosphere might be a little different depending on the season.
