Reviews of Jr Inn Chitose

Very convenient- took the JR train from New Chitose airport (2nd stop only) and the hotel is located very nearby the train station. Counter staff are polite but they can be more polite. I arrived earlier and had to top up additional 3,000 yen to check in earlier at 12noon (instead of the standard 3pm) even though it was ready. I heard this might be a Japan norm- but still doesn’t leave a good experience.

a conveniently located hotel next to the New Chitose Airport. Free selection of Pillows of various texture and pillow case are possible at the lobby. This is a choice hotel for a night stay in preparation of early flight on the following day. There are lift access to get to the train station. Getting luggage to the train platform was easy. Hotel has free parking and is next to a Seven-Eleven convenient store.

Located right next to Chitose station, check-in was done via self check-in machine after obtaining a QR booking confirmation code from the front. A public bath one for male and one for female are located at level 2 with a lounge where complimentary hot coffees are available. Room size just right for two pax and was clean and quiet. There are two 7-11 fight next door to the hotel and short walking distance to food places like soup curry, grilled meat, ramen etc. as well as Chitose salmon aquarium.

The room is spacious and so clean. The location is superb. Have 3 convenient stores nearby plus the parking lots is huge and free of charge. 

We found a very convenient hotel near New Chitose Airport! Having friendly staff, a quiet environment, and proximity to Chitose Station are definitely pluses, especially when traveling. If the breakfast menu is limited but consistent, it might be a good idea to explore nearby cafes or restaurants for more variety if you’re staying longer.

JR Inn Chitose is conveniently located right by the train station, making it easy to travel around. The public onsen is great, and the hotel has a fresh, clean scent throughout. A nice touch is the ability to choose and pick your pillow from the lobby. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Just beside train station and a very convenient location for a night stay if you have a very early of late flight. Room is average, did not spend much time but overall satisfied.

We stayed at JR Inn for our next morning flight from New Chitose airport. Location is good, close to many convenience stores, of course train station. Pick your own pillow from the lobby should be one of the features with JR INN. Unfortunately I can not comment other JR Inn as I only stayed this one for my whole trip. Compared with other similar hotels like Tokyu Stay, i have to say I prefer Tokyu Stay with much nicer and cleaner public bath. The public bath here is really small and the bath pool looks not very clean. I even saw a lady jumping in without shower, which scared other ladies. I just skipped my morning hot bath because of this. I used self-check in and check-out machine so no comments for staff service. They might see too many people come and go everyday, front desk are not very polite like other hotel staff either.

Great location right next to the train station. Clean hotel. Rooms are a little on the smaller side.

Great location, just around 5 min walk to Aeon shopping centre, and within 2 min walk to JR Chitose. Which is very convenient for our early flight to CTS. Friendly staffs with pretty good english speaking. Highly recommended.

Location is good, near AEON and station. The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is ok. English of the counter is just so so. The best thing there is having full sets of different wonderful comics 😍

Excellence location just 2 mins from JR Chitose, fast check-in, good choice for early flight

Booked because near airport, decent location however the restaurants nearby may require reservation as we were not able to get seats for walk-in. Many convenience stores nearby though, so no worries for food. Next to the JR train station as well (photo was taken right outside hotel exit)
