The food was absolutely delicious. The dinner course was incredibly satisfying and elaborate, with excellent pizza, risotto, and pasta. The views were also amazing, and we could see stars from outside at night. The all-you-can-eat delicious gelato was a huge plus!

The service was excellent, and the food quality was superb. They also had a great variety of ice cream flavors to choose from.

Wish there was a hot spring/onsen! ♨️

I had a very good experience at Hatagoya in Jozankei, and since this hotel is in the same chain, I booked it with high expectations. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped with high-quality amenities (Dyson hairdryer, Bermuda speaker, etc.). There was a jacuzzi in the room, but the hot springs were in the hotel next door, a 3-minute walk away. The water was slippery, and the cypress wood bath (the private open-air bath attached to the room, which requires a reservation and is paid, was excellent) was fantastic. Dinner was an Italian course meal, and breakfast was Western style. It might not be suitable for those who want to eat rice. The food was delicious and used local ingredients, but unfortunately, it was expensive and there weren't many choices (you could choose from the menu on the website, but it was confusing). The surrounding shops and restaurants close at 5 pm. The road to the hot springs is partially a road with car traffic, and it's pitch black at night, making it difficult to get there at night, and the return trip is uphill. The view from the room was disappointing; instead of the lake, you could see construction scaffolding. It's a hotel with only 6 rooms, and there's nothing around, so there's no need to worry about noise. It's very quiet, so it might be good for people who want to spend time in a peaceful atmosphere. I was a little disappointed because there wasn't anything particularly special about the place besides the gelato.

The staff were very polite and friendly!! 🙏🙏🙏 The food was delicious. Although there was no onsen (hot spring bath) on-site, it's just a five-minute walk down to another traditional restaurant in the same group. It's a comfortable and novel guesthouse-like place—so relaxing! ❤️❤️❤️

This hotel, was amazing, especially the dinner, every dish was very good and the breakfast was very rich. The jacuzzi in the room was also very comfortable. This hotel is so great that I can come to Lake Kakawa again for it.

The hotel's overall service was five-star level, and the butler's meticulous care allowed us to relax and unwind after a long day of travel. It's a hidden gem! 🥰

A uniquely designed guesthouse with sincere, diligent, and polite staff. The meals are exquisite and delicious, and the staff thoughtfully explains the ingredients – superb! You can book a private hot spring bath at Cuishan Pavilion; it's a wonderful bath room, absolutely fantastic!

The dinner, breakfast and the gelato served were all delicious.
