Location was perfect for Jindaiji Temple and botanical gardens which was why we chose The Creston. It’s difficult to find as it’s on the 8th to 10th floors of a big shopping centre and there’s only one pathetic name plate on the outside almost impossible to spot. Room was old fashioned with no sockets by the side of the beds and the communal corridor smelled bad. It was more a business/function hotel but fine for one night. We didn’t take breakfast and it looked a bit sad.

I was a little disappointed that there was a crack in the sink and the curtains were torn. The breakfast buffet had few options for the price, making it seem overpriced. I was glad that the parking fee was cheap. The hotel was close to the station, which made getting around convenient.

Great location, Downstairs of the hotel is the Parco department store, and in the basement is the bus terminal for Haneda Airport. Walk for 30 seconds and you will reach the central exit of Chofu Station. You can take the Keio Line express train out of Shinjuku Station in 20-30 minutes. There are also many restaurants and department stores around. The environment is very clean, the service staff is very polite, The only problem is that the Wi-Fi reception is poor, so it is basically useless. The others are also very good!
