The smiles on their faces are completely different from the professional smiles at the front desks of other hotels that I have stayed in. They are very heartwarming. There are many types of beverages in the room that are not cheap (Paris water, imported Coke, 5100 mineral water), and capsule coffee machines. The point is that they are all free. Nice hotel, lobby located over several floors within a larger commercial building which is very common in Chongqing. Room was good size, comfortable and up to date. Bathroom was very nice. Room had windows that could be opened which was a plus so we could turn off air-con when we wanted to. We were very pleasantly surprised when we asked for use of the laundry facility We got a knock on the room door by some staff to collect our several bags of laundry and take away and wash/dry for us. We came back later in the day and it was all was and dried on our bed. Gratis. Breakfast was gods sized Chinese buffet. Only negative for us was the lack of a fridge.
