Niccolo Chongqing

For my trip to Chongqing, I specifically booked the Niccolo's Deluxe River View King Room, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. As a luxury hotel rooted high up in the IFS, this room perfectly embodies the unique sky-high romance of the mountain city. The room itself is a generous 52 square meters, designed with a minimalist yet sophisticated grey, white, and gold palette. There are no superfluous or cluttered decorations; instead, metallic lines and soft lighting complement each other. Art pieces strategically placed throughout create a rich and elegant atmosphere. Stepping into the room instantly relieved the fatigue of travel. The full-panel panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows are undoubtedly the room's biggest highlight. With a 270-degree unobstructed view, you can lie in bed and directly face the magnificent confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. Raffles City Chongqing, Qiansimen Bridge, and the Hongya Cave complex are all arranged within sight. During the day, a thin mist shrouds the river, and the stacked buildings showcase the three-dimensional beauty of the mountain city. As night falls, the city's neon lights gradually illuminate, and the illuminated tour boats and the bridge lights intertwine to form a flowing river of stars – no filters needed for any photos you take. A soft leisure sofa by the window invites you to sit back and watch the sunset, creating a wonderfully ambient mood. The marble bathtub by the window in the bathroom is another exquisite touch; while soaking, you can look up and admire the panoramic night view. Paired with the hotel's standard high-end Italian bath amenities, the soothing and healing fragrance elevates the sense of comfort to the fullest. The bedding, made from high-thread-count knitted fabric, feels soft and plush, allowing for quick relaxation and sleep. The smart home control system is convenient and hassle-free, with one-touch control for curtains, lights, and room temperature – a truly thoughtful detail. The hotel service is meticulous and attentive. The staff at check-in were gentle and explained the room facilities proactively. Turndown service was thoughtfully prepared, and the mini-bar was fully stocked. Being located downstairs from the IFS commercial district made going out for shopping incredibly convenient. The only slight regret is that Hongya Cave is slightly obstructed from certain angles, but this absolutely does not diminish the overall viewing experience. Whether you're here specifically to experience the mountain city's night view or for a leisurely stay, this Deluxe River View King Room is definitely a worthwhile choice. Even after leaving, the cloud-high river view remains unforgettable.

The hotel environment is elegant, and the hygiene details are well-controlled! Jialing's follow-up after check-out was thoughtful and attentive. The hotel truly offers a comfortable and relaxing stay! Jialing, the staff member, was also super enthusiastic.

The room itself was fine, but the location and views were amazing. Yanne, one of the staff members, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The only minor downside was that the breakfast was a bit underwhelming.

The high-altitude view is stunning, and the hotel's overall quality is outstanding. It was a great stay. Yannie was gentle and responsible, providing attentive and thorough service throughout, and even helped with a late check-out. I genuinely recommend this hotel!

The rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable, and my friends all had a very pleasant stay. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and provided excellent service. The bar upstairs has an expansive and bright view with a live singer. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing.

Had a great stay with my family! The room was spotless and well-maintained. Jialing, a member of the staff, was incredibly patient and friendly. The location was super convenient for getting around. My whole family had a relaxed and enjoyable time!

The cloud-level views at Niccolo Chongqing are absolutely breathtaking! The lobby on the 62nd floor is incredibly artistic, and the guest rooms are elegant and spotless. You get an amazing panoramic view of the two rivers at night. Our butler, Yannie, provided such thoughtful and attentive service – it was a fantastic experience! Given how spicy the food is in Chongqing, a smart toilet is a must-have, and unfortunately, they don't have one here.

The parking lot, mall, and office building are all together, which made it incredibly difficult to find. There were no signs or clear markers anywhere, and I got lost in the basement parking. I had to call a concierge to come and find me. Maybe it was because I checked in late, but the lobby had several areas that looked like they were under construction, very messy with ladders and such. The room itself was fine, but I couldn't find the switch for the bathroom light strip. For takeout, you have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself as there's no delivery service, which is very inconvenient. The staff seemed a bit perfunctory about it too. Breakfast selection was decent, but there was hardly any service. No one really paid attention to me, and I only realized you could order from a menu when I was almost done eating, as no one had told me before. Overall, the hotel's facilities are good, but the service is just average, though acceptable.
