Chongqing Muzhixi Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch)

The room was pretty good and modern. They provided disposable face towels and bath towels every day, though a hair cap would have been a nice addition. As for the complimentary one-day tour, there were additional charges once we were on the bus, averaging around 210 per person. We ended up not going with the group as we prefer to explore on our own. For travelers who don't want to spend extra money on guided tours, I'd recommend skipping the one-day tour and planning your own itinerary instead.

A hidden gem of a hotel! It's cozy, clean, and the service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Excellent value for money, making it my top choice for short trips. (Chongqing's food is absolutely amazing!) A day trip to Chongqing: all the attractions are conveniently located on one route.

The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly patient! I'm quite picky, so I ended up changing rooms several times, but they were very accommodating. They finally found me a room with a huge panoramic window that perfectly met my high standards! Waking up to a view of skyscrapers, blue skies, and white clouds right outside my window was amazing. The natural light was fantastic! The decor was a simple, clean, minimalist wood style, which was very comfortable and visually appealing. The location is also superb, very close to Qixinggang Station, making getting around super convenient! My only minor quibble is that the sink is inside the room. If you turn the water on too high, it splashes onto the floor, making it a bit slippery to walk on. However, a lovely cleaner comes to tidy up, and they do a fantastic job!

The location, ambiance, and price are all excellent. It's a great spot to try local food as there are many locals around Qixinggang.

The room was very clean, free of any strange odors, and the decor felt brand new. The owner was incredibly kind and even upgraded our room for free. The hotel is situated in a high-up location, so it's very quiet, and the window offers a lovely night view.

The hotel is newly renovated, clean and hygienic, and conveniently located on the 16th floor. The disposable face towels and bath towels were a nice touch.

I randomly picked this hotel and was pleasantly surprised! The front desk staff and cleaning ladies were all incredibly warm and friendly. The room was clean and odor-free, and they thoughtfully provided disposable face towels and bath towels every day, which was a nice touch. Right downstairs is Chen Pangzi Hotpot, which always has a long queue, and behind the hotel there's a Chongqing noodle place that's also pretty good – I ate there several times. The location is super convenient for getting around. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance!
