Gongguan Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Shibati)

The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable; it was extremely tidy with no unnecessary clutter. The bed offered two sets of pillows at different heights, catering to various preferences. The room layout was well-designed, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The staff were warm, friendly, and very responsive. The Xiaodu smart control system was incredibly convenient. The hotel's location was exceptionally convenient, offering a peaceful retreat amidst a bustling area. The building isn't too tall, and the soundproofing was excellent. We used the hotel as our base to explore many popular attractions. During this trip to Chongqing, what impressed me most about the city was its cleanliness, friendliness, and convenience. Taxis were very affordable, and the taxi drivers and staff were incredibly warm and hospitable. The ground in the lively commercial districts was very clean. Although there were fewer trash cans, I didn't see any litter, which shows a general improvement in Chongqing's overall civic quality. There were also many foreign tourists.

The hotel's design is absolutely stunning, beautifully blending old architectural styles with many modern elements. Stepping inside, it exceeded my expectations and truly amazed me. The customer service staff are all young, enthusiastic, and eager to learn – a fantastic group of young people. The hotel's location is also excellent, very close to Shibatage (the 18 Steps). It's just around the corner from the hotel entrance, definitely worth recommending.

Facilities: Excellent and well-equipped. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Convenient for getting around, and the hotel environment is great. Service: The front desk staff were very gentle and provided thoughtful service. There was a small issue with the light in our room on the first night, and the front desk lady was still helping us resolve it at 1 AM – truly dedicated! They even upgraded our room for free when we extended our stay. The service attitude was excellent, and they even gave us a small gift. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chongqing! ≧▽≦ Also, the breakfast was quite tasty.

The hotel is a standalone building. Although it's by the road, the soundproofing is excellent, so it's not noisy at all. It's also very beautiful and convenient for getting around. The room environment is fantastic, making for a super comfortable stay, and the bedding is very pleasant to sleep on. The front desk service is also great; they even provide amenities like makeup remover and contact lens solution. They even mailed back items we forgot at the hotel.

This was my first time traveling, and after browsing many hotels on Trip.com, I decided to give this one a try. It didn't disappoint! It looks exactly like the pictures, and the cleanliness and service were fantastic 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Since I was traveling with my child, I'm very particular about hygiene, and this hotel made me feel very comfortable. The air conditioning worked really well, the whole room was smart-controlled, and there was a mini-fridge and a direct drinking water dispenser, which was very convenient. The hotel offers a free breakfast with over a dozen options. There's also a gym and a billiards table. The cleaning staff were very considerate, and the front desk service was excellent. When checking out, the hotel even gave us a thoughtful souvenir. Very considerate…

The location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk to Shibati, and very close to Jiefangbei and Hongya Cave. The hotel's decor has a lovely Nanyang retro vibe, perfect for taking photos. The room was clean and tidy, with smart controls throughout, comfortable bedding, and a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful.

Not a bad hotel. It's located below Shibati and not far from the Mountain City Trail, so the location is pretty good. The small Western-style building is quite well-renovated and has a quality feel to it. The two ladies at the front desk also provided good service.

Everything was great: the room, location, cleanliness, parking, price, and pet-friendliness. My favorite part was the strong water pressure in the shower, and they even gave us a free room upgrade!

The front desk staff were incredibly warm, professional, and embodied the welcoming hospitality Chongqing is known for.
