Our high-floor river view room offered unbeatable panoramic views, with floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly framing the mountain city. By day, we watched the错落 streets and buildings, and by night, we overlooked the entire illuminated Yuzhong district. The room was clean and tidy, incredibly quiet thanks to the vacuum soundproofing, and featured smart controls throughout. Plus, there was a separate bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. The thoughtful details really enhanced our stay: quality toiletries, a drying rack, and even a self-service laundry room and gym. It's ideal for students traveling together for summer vacation or friends on a getaway. Staying here in Chongqing was comfortable and great for photos!

The hotel's location is excellent; most popular attractions are just a 10-15 minute walk away. Breakfast was pretty good, with a chef on hand to prepare fresh Chongqing noodles. The rooms had some thoughtful touches, like a heated clothes rack, a direct-drinking water tap, and disposable face towels at the sink—things you don't usually find in most hotels, which was a nice touch. The only slight drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't very effective, making it a bit stuffy at night. Overall, it was very clean, and the room had a good view.

Five stars, highly recommend this hotel! The location is super convenient, right in the heart of Jiefangbei, and you can walk to Hongya Cave and Bayi Haochi Street. It saved us a lot of travel time for sightseeing and food adventures. The room was spacious and bright, and I really loved the huge floor-toceiling windows. I found a hidden gem of a hotel in Jiefangbei, and it exceeded all my expectations! 📍 The Ark Hotel (Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch) has an unbeatable location, right outside Jiefangbei. My room directly overlooked the Jialing River, and opening the window revealed the dazzling nightscape of Mountain City. The twin towers in the distance glowed with a soft golden outline, creating an incredible atmosphere. The room boasted a sophisticated minimalist style, with furniture in rich wood tones complemented by luxurious Brazilian stone accents. The Serta mattress was incredibly soft – once I lay down, I didn't want to get up. My favorite part was the large bathtub; soaking in warm, bubbly water while gazing at the city lights outside instantly melted away all my travel fatigue. The hotel's public areas are also incredibly stylish. The dark-themed lobby with its crystal chandeliers and vintage sculptures makes for a perfect high-end photo op. And the beef brisket noodles for breakfast were so fragrant, especially with a freshly fried soft-boiled egg – a perfect way to power up for a day of exploring Mountain City. Being within walking distance of Jiefangbei and Hongyadong made getting around super convenient!

It's just a few minutes' walk to Jiefangbei, and about ten minutes to Hongyadong. Downstairs is Bayi Haochi Street. With kids, you won't need to take a taxi for sightseeing and eating, which saves a lot of time and hassle. The details are particularly suitable for families: there's direct drinking water throughout the room, making it convenient for preparing formula and for kids to drink water. The bathroom fixtures are all from major brands like Kohler and TOTO, ensuring cleanliness and peace of mind. There are plenty of elevators, so you barely have to wait, and the corridors are wide, making it easy to push a stroller. The facilities are also comprehensive. The lobby has a relaxation garden, and there's a gym and a self-service laundry room on the higher floors. The room itself is spacious, well soundproofed, with a minimalist yet high-end decor, and excellent cleanliness. It offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I bring my family to Chongqing!

I was truly impressed by the luxurious feel of this hotel. The lobby design is absolutely stunning! It's perfect for women to take photos, and it’s also ideal for recreating the vibe of the popular K-drama 'Cheongdam International High School' – it just feels so high-end. My friends and I watched a soccer match in the room and took a bunch of photos – the atmosphere was incredible! It's definitely a great spot to catch a game with friends ⚽.
