JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing

The room was generally clean and its prime location near the city center made it convenient to get around. Upon arrival, we were greeted with peanut brittle and fruits. The breakfast spread was quite extensive, offering a good variety of both Chinese and Western options.

The bed was large and the breakfast was delicious. They provided 6 bottles of water in the room without me even asking, which was perfect given the hot weather. I ate the Chongqing noodles at breakfast for 3 nights in a row, they were so good!

The breakfast service was excellent! The staff, especially one young lady, was very proactive in helping with drinks, which was a really nice touch. Whenever I'm on a business trip to Chongqing, I always stay at the Marriott. I really love the breakfast here; it's a great way to start the day! As for other facilities, it's an older hotel, so the amenities are a bit dated but still clean. Overall, I'm satisfied! 👍

Traveling with family, the hotel's location is superb, with many tourist attractions like Jiefangbei and Hongyadong within walking distance. Downstairs, there's a rich variety of delicious local food, from hotpot to 'fly restaurants' (small, local eateries) and Chongqing noodles. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the excellent service makes up for it. The front desk, doormen, executive lounge, and housekeeping staff are all warm and friendly. My family was very satisfied, especially the kids who loved the ice cream decorations in the elevator 😂. We'll definitely come again!

Facilities: Very good, the decor has a unique and stylish flair. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: The environment is great. Service: Attentive and thoughtful service. Since I can't eat spicy food, I ordered room service twice, and both meals were delicious! My family loved them too. They even upgraded our room, which had a lovely view.

As a Marriott member, the welcome benefits were substantial. They proactively and thoughtfully upgraded my room, and the welcome amenity included local Chongqing snacks. The room linens were soft and comfortable, housekeeping was prompt and thorough, and all my requests were quickly addressed. This established luxury hotel truly has a deep legacy, offering reliable and steady service. I've stayed here multiple times and am always very satisfied.

This is one of Marriott's higher-end brands, but the facilities are a bit old. The room size isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, and the bedding and bathroom amenities are quite good. The executive lounge on the 28th floor offers nice views of the mountain city at night, and the food and drinks there are decent, nothing special but not bad. A nice touch is that the TV welcome message displays the guest's name, which shows a genuine welcome. Overall, it's not particularly outstanding, but there are no major flaws either.
