Hongya Dieyuan Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch)

Traveling with my baby, I stayed at this hotel on a friend's recommendation, and it was indeed convenient. From the balcony, you can see the night view of Hongyadong and Qianximen Bridge, perfect for taking photos without having to squeeze through crowds downstairs. The subway station and Jiefangbei are within walking distance, and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was plentiful, and I especially enjoyed the Chongqing noodles. The front desk staff were warm and provided excellent service.

The room is comfortable, and the location is absolutely superb – it's quiet despite being in a bustling area, and the views are lovely. Everything you could want for food, drinks, and entertainment is right at your fingertips. It's fantastic! Stepping out from the viewing platform, you're immediately greeted by all sorts of unique local snacks and hot pot restaurants. Since the hotel is actually inside Hongyadong, it saves you a lot of travel time. The hotel service was incredibly warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

The location is fantastic and unique, right on the first floor of the Hongyadong scenic area, which makes getting around super convenient. The hotel service was excellent, and the facilities were complete. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted good too. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

The room's location is absolutely fantastic, right at the main entrance of Hongyadong scenic area, with a stunning river view directly in front. It's also super convenient for river cruises. The whole experience, from check-in to dining, was seamless. After booking online, a concierge quickly contacted me and offered a selection of river-view room types. The environment and hygiene were both quite good. There was plenty of complimentary water and beverages in the room, plus welcome fruit. Definitely recommended!

Seriously, this is one of the absolute best spots to experience the magical 8D cityscape of Chongqing at night! If you're here to see Hongyadong, you could be sweating in a crowded street, phone in hand, searching for a good photo spot, fully embracing Chongqing's heat. Or, you could be on your own private balcony at this hotel, enjoying the night view all to yourself – and the angle is simply amazing! A cool river breeze drifts in from the left, while from the right, you can hear the folk singer from the hotpot restaurant (I think they stop singing after 10 PM) and smell the delicious hotpot. It's not just about taking a picture and checking it off your list; it's a unique experience, a perfect fusion with the scenery and the night itself! Even better, once you've had your fill of the night view, you just retreat to your room, close the soundproof glass door, and enjoy your own quiet, cool sanctuary. While others are queuing for elevators, drenched in sweat, or standing on the street waiting for a ride-hailing car that's 100+ spots away, you could already be showered and relaxing in a clean bed with the AC on. We came during the May Day holiday, and it felt incredibly worthwhile and lucky to have three days of this prime Hongyadong night view all to ourselves, amidst all the crowds. The ladies at the front desk were so kind and responsible; as soon as I booked, they sent me a video of the room for confirmation. When we arrived, they recommended an authentic local hotpot place (we ate there two days in a row, until I couldn't handle the spiciness anymore, otherwise, I would've gone again!), helped us send packages when we left, and even gave us a souvenir. All in all, if you've read this far, don't hesitate! There's nothing to agonize over. After three days of exploring Chongqing, this hotel was by far the most satisfying part of our trip! It truly is the most comfortable haven after all the ups and downs and winding paths you'll take in this mountain city.

Right next to Hongyadong and across from 'Air-Raid Shelter Captain Hotpot' (防空洞大队长火锅). It was clean, comfortable, and the location was super convenient. They even brought us complimentary fruit. The hotel was packed during the holiday, but staying in a river-view room made it feel really special. Definitely recommend it! A special shout-out to the young lady at the front desk – her service was excellent, thumbs up! 👍

The experience at Hongyadong Dieduan was absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, very close to Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. After checking out the lit-up Hongyadong at night, it was a short walk back to sleep. The hotel perfectly blends the characteristics of Bayu stilt houses, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with a breathtaking panoramic view of Hongyadong's dazzling lights. The night view created an incredible atmosphere, allowing for an immersive experience of Chongqing's 8D magical charm. The overall ambiance was incredibly comfortable. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly kind, making the entire stay very pleasant. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Chongqing!

Even though it was crowded for the May Day holiday, the hotel's location was great! You can see Qiansimen Bridge and Hongya Cave right from the window, and they look stunning when lit up. After midnight, it gets pretty quiet outside, and the soundproofing is decent. The hotel even upgraded us to a room with a balcony. The staff member was really lovely and polite~
