The hotel is located in the Jiefangbei area, which is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The room was spacious enough for three people, with no smell of smoke. The staff were very helpful—even though we don’t speak Chinese, we were able to communicate just fine through WeChat. One thing I would have liked is more mirrors in the room. Overall, I recommend staying at Meirui Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongyadong).

Above is the Yangtze River Cableway and Jiefangbei, below is Raffles City and Chaotianmen Square, on the left is Hongyadong, Luohan Temple, Qiansimen Bridge, on the right is Huguang Guild Hall, Dongshuimen Bridge, Longmenhao Old Street, all attractions It takes about 10 minutes to walk. Exit 4B of Xiaoshizi Station of Metro Line 1 and Line 6 is right in front of the hotel. It is very convenient to go to Ciqikou, Liziba, Eling Second Factory, Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street and other attractions. It takes only 23 minutes to drive to Jiangbei Airport and 18 minutes to drive to Chongqing North Station. The geographical location is really unique! The decoration of the hotel adopts a modern and simple style. The bedding and toiletries are all equipped with star hotel standards. In the 8D Magic City where even navigation can get lost, you will not get lost with Meirui. I hope you can leave unforgettable and beautiful memories here! Check in was fast although we only speaks little chinese. The check in Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms is clean and spacious. If you are looking for Hotel near the MRT station than you will be happy with the hotel but if you are looking with superb View of Chongqing I don't think this is the one. The Hotel is only probably under 50 m from Xiaoshishi MRT station exit 4B. You could walk to Hong ya dong cave around 10 - 15 minutes walk.

Excellent stay!! Location was super near to the central line Hong ya dong and jiefangbei. The room was clean and comfortable. Best part is that the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They were willing to help out for the logistics parts of our trip as well! 10/10 recommend.

Good location, cozy room. Walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions and they provide unlimited water, coffee and snacks which is a plus points. Definitely recommend to stay here!

My friend and I came for a weekend, we arrived late on Friday night, and the hotel contacted us to confirm the arrival time. Once confirmed, the check-in was super fast, and we could go to our room and rest. We absolutely adored that the bathroom can not be seen from the beds and also that the space there is quite big. All the staff was very nice to us, especially on our last day, we met Miss Wen, who also was kind enough to let us store our luggage for a few hours so that we could finish our last tour smoothly. The location of the hotel is fantastic, easy to spot, and close to a lot of major attractions, transportation stations, and eateries. Finally, we were given a small souvenir bag with some Chongqing snacks. We will definitely stay there on our next CQ trip.

Super nice stay in this hotel, spacious room and very accessible to all attractions. The subway is just 1 minute walk ( Xiaoshizi station exit 4B ). The front desk receptionists were all great and helpful, they responded to all my queries, just ask them where you wanna go and they can even help book your side trip attractions like Wulong Karst sites.👍👏❤️

I love this hotel! The location is awesome as it is close to everything from subway, restaurants, shops, tourist spots…….all within walking distance of about 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about what we needed. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and would come back again and again! This is a great hotel for both business and pleasure travelers. You will definitely get much more than what you pay for!
