The front desk was very polite. Very helpful and accommodating when we request to change the room from courtyard view to river view (without additional charge).
Location wise not really recommend for overseas tourists as it is away from tourists hotspots so need to take cab. This hotel located in one of the apartments in the residential area. Nevertheless, there are many eateries within walking distance.
The room facility however is not good. Toilet and bathroom are weirdly located in our room. Bathroom is badly designed as the water would leaked out to the wooden flooring outside the bathroom. The room is facilitated with a projector but it was kind of stressful to operate it as it keeps saying the storage is full and we were constantly interrupted with all the pop up messages from the player. Front door can’t locked from inside so the front desk staff opened the door when we were in the room (a different staff came to verify whether the room was really occupied as we requested to change the room during check-in).

The hotel was clean and had a great view over the river to the city beyond. The room was huge and very spacious which made the stay relaxing

I booked a room at Beiou Art Hotel (Chongqing Liujia Wharf Branch) on the Ctrip app on September 27, 2024 for a total of 3 days from October 22 to 25. On the afternoon of the third day of our stay, we found a cockroach crawling in a bag containing towels on the floor. It ran out through a hole in the bag and I killed it. I thought it was just one, so I gave up. But when we were getting ready to go to sleep at 11pm, we found a cockroach running back and forth between the headboard and the pillow. We really couldn't stand sleeping in such an environment. We negotiated with the hotel and they refunded us the total room fee of 900 yuan for three days. We have photos and videos of cockroaches in hotels. There is a recording of the negotiation with the hotel owner. The hotel owner said that since we had already stayed for the first two days, we could only refund the money for the third day. So this cockroach is ignorant? It came out on the 3rd day? If I had known there were cockroaches, I would never have booked here again!
By the way, the boss also said that cockroaches are inevitable. Who would spend 900 yuan for 3 days in a hotel with cockroaches? Girls always put their hair on the pillow before going to bed. I chose a four-star hotel when I booked the room. The price was not cheap. I had high expectations. I didn’t know who gave the rating on the platform. There was no door. It was in a residential unit. The view from this hotel to the river is really amazing. I couldn’t sleep at night. Just go downstairs and you’ll see the view of the river city without any buildings. It’s really a great experience and very cost-effective. I booked a honeymoon suite and the hotel has just been decorated and designed. Well, it is definitely the best choice to take your other half for a walk along the river. Return to the hotel and continue to eat delicious food.
