The housekeeping is so great, Kate is absolutely the best service mind. ❤️ The location is challenging and has good views.

The place was convenient and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We are travelers from out of country and they were very informative and provided much assistant to make our stay comfortable.

Nice location within a short 15 minutes walk to Shibate. Short 10 minutes car ride to Hongyadong and raffles city Chongqing. Price is reasonable and rooms are spacious. Will definitely recommend the 2 bed room apartments which is spacious at 128m 2

Our family had a splendid stay at this marvelous hotel. This hotel was in a very convenient location, allowing customers to have a view on the Yangtze river and the skyline on the other side. The hotel was walking distance from the well-known shopping district and downtown. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The housekeeping was very friendly and the front desk staff were helpful. However, we did not like the breakfast buffet so much. There were not many western options and the chinese options did not suit our tastes.

Overall the hotel is a great place to stay but buffet breakfast varieties is not worth the amount you pay. Will stay here again without the breakfast. A lot of restaurants neaby.

The international brand helmed by Ascott never fails to deliver. It was a pleasant experience staying with Somerset. Fully equipped service apartment, conveniently located in the heart of Yuzhong district, overlooking the Yangtze river but without the hustle and bustle that accompanies with the popular attractions such as Hongya dong and Jiefangbei. I had no issues during my stay with Somerset and their staffs are very professional and customer oriented regardless you are a staying guest or simply enquiring (witnessed first hand)

The welcome was very good and the staff very attentive. The room was spacious, but there was a smell of cigarettes in the room. Cleanliness wasn't perfect, with limescale in the bathroom. Two bottles of water brought in every day.

The location is very good, near the police station and the Yangtze River view. The bedroom is spacious, the facilities are complete, there is an iron and a washing machine. The housekeeper comes to clean every day. But the dining room is a bit small and looks chaotic.

Really disappointed about the tricky and snitch way the hotel policy ask to pay 38 RMB to buy a swimming pool cap otherwise cannot swim. The manager after we complain give it us for free with the excuses but my son still didn’t swim that day. he was hold in the pool for 20 minutes asking for money. very bad for a child. The location is so so. it’s on the other side of the fun. Breakfast is buffet but not value for the money we pay. wifi is ok. cleaning is ok. the view is nice on the river. The manager give us time till 16:00 pm as the flight was canceled. we will not stay there anymore.

Bathroom and Room was big. I had a side view of the Yangtze River. Big Pool for lane swimming unfortunately under a glass roof, so tanning possible. The gym was also spacious and well equipped. There were a few Chinese restaurants and small convenient stores near the hotel. But nothing really exciting. But if you walked up the stairs to the main shopping streats which took about 20 minutes, you got everything there. The look over the river day and night was amazing. The Hotel was very friendly and helpful. Some spoke English.

Great hotel in a great location with wonderful staff! We booked a standard room but we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite! That was a very nice surprise and totally unexpected. In addition to the wonderful service by the front desk staff, the breakfast was also excellent. Would definitely return to this hotel next time we're in Chongqing!!

Service is ok but location is not so good. Facility too old. Breakfast no too much optional and the menu almost unchanged during my stay in the hotel.
