I really didn't like this hotel! In the bathroom there was hair from the previous tourists, only one of the 5 sockets worked, there is a kettle, but no cups. We asked to replace the pillow in the evening because it was very hard to sleep and had some grain inside, but no one answered, although it is written that the hotel has a 24-hour reception. Poor sound insulation.
I don’t recommend this hotel to tourists. There is a hotel of the same chain nearby and it is much better, but more expensive.
One things is good here is a location, but at night it was noisy.

The hotel is located at the central of Jiefangbei street
The room service 11 helps us a lot of things like advice about our trip, good service although some communication problem.
Nice soft bed, good view, very clean room🥰🥰

The area is quite busy which is fine, well located in the tourist area. Usually the building entrance is off the street easily visible. Not in this case, the entrance is hard to see down an alley.
No advice or directions on the hotel booking page though
As I couldn't locate the entrance I asked Mercure directly.across the street. The front desk clerk didn't know and showed me a navigation map which I followed around for half an hour..the shop owners didn't know either. A kind lady at another hotel called the front desk who gave me their WeChat.
I'm used to it as I travelled to 109 countries everywhere..it rarely happens, but does..just a part of travel sometimes.
Just look around and be careful to check building entrances in the main tourist locations which are super busy and triple check people's advice.
A very nice clean room and nice lady at the front desk.. very understanding. A good stay.

I had a great stay. The room was perfectly clean, which I really appreciated, and there is everything one might need. The bed was comfortable and soft, I slept very well. The receptionists (especially 33) were very kind and helpful, using the translator well.
The location is ideal for sightseeing on foot and there are endless food choices nearby.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the pedestrian street known for food stalls. Other downtown destinations are within walking distance. There are plenty of night activities here.
I have an inside room without a window which is not a problem as I didn't think I would stay in my room long enough. In retrospect, I should have gotten a windowed room.
My room is not big but it is clean and has the basic toiletries. I can definitely like to see a bigger bathroom with a shower divider.
I would stay here again but would pay for a bigger room with a window.

Location was good, right in the middle of Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street with lots of food nearby. Various attractions like Hongyadong, Kuixing Lou, Dai Alley are all within walking distance. Metro was about 5-8min walk away as well.
Hotel is stacked with 2 or 3 other hotel brands within the same building. Lifts are slow and the ones at the back lane (that leads you to the reception) smells of grease.
Would not choose this hotel again for future stays. There are plenty of hotels nearby to try out.

The hotel is very central, you go out to main street and subway is gery convenient. However the huge building has only 1 elevator and it seems to be also elevator for service and storage levels. So sometimes it takes up to 15 minutes just to get down or up (the hotel rooms are on 29th floor, so stairs are no option). The room was great and clean, but AC did not work and our room had bo windows, so it wqs very hot.

Hotel is in a very comfortable street, jiefangbei shopping street is right outside, bayi street food is also very near. The room is very clean and view from window is awesome. There are also jiangjiamen metro 500meters. Although we are foreigners and a little bit hard to communicate, the receptionists are all very helpful, the cleaners are also very nice. I highly recommend this hotel for this super good price and super good quality. P/s: get down gate 9 of jiangjiamen metro.
