I had a great stay at Yummyhill. The girl that did my check-in spoke English and they provided me with an English document with recommendations for transport, sights and restaurants. The room was quite spacious and had it’s own toilet and shower, which was convenient. There is also the possibility to do laundry. It was a bit difficult to find at first, you need to go into a building and to the right for the elevator to the 9th floor. But once found, it’s a very good spot with the subway in front of the door and many restaurants and shops nearby. I would definitely recommend people to stay here!

honestly the best place to come when youre in chongqing
the staff are young and lively, there is an in house chef that holds communal lunches and dinners for only 30+ rmb
there are 6 adorable cats for you to play with, and a well equipped main room where you dine, drink, play board/card games as well as simply chatting
the location is also prime for transport, where there is a metro station just downstairs that connects to most of the tourist sights, and there is also a garden outside with amazing views of the surrounding buildings that light up the night
this is the first hostel i wished i could stay a lot longer for, and not just a place to sleep
came here solo, left with many memories and friends!

THIS IS THE BEST YOUTH HOSTEL SO FAR FOR ME. I am a foreigner that can speak basic Chinese but the receptionist are lively to welcome me and introduce the environment. The facilities are great and luckily I’ve met a great set of roommates that they’ve brought me outside for lunch, dinner and even tour. We also did a lot of card games during night time plus the beer event starting from 9:30PM is also great. The environment is very alive and the cats are very cute!! I booked three hotels in Chongqing and this is the best among those three!.

Best hostel ever for a nice stay in the city center. Close to everything and good bed to sleep in. Very clean and possible to wash and dry clothes

The position is perfect, right in the vibrant center. You can reach Hongyadong in two minutes walking. The rooms are nice and clean. Definitely worth the stay and the price.

The hostel is very welcoming with great staff willing to help you out within reason. They have a nice large garden area to chill at which was size of a football pitch on 9th floor where hostel is. Good family meals you can chip in for to have to meet people. Good location right next to transport. However was a couple down sides, the games room was not one, it was the bosses room... more for international travellers; social side was lacking if you can't speak mandarin not a lot of international travellers... but most places people don't speak English much....
