Atour Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei, Raffles Plaza, Riverview)

Five stars, hands down! I blindly picked this Raffles river-view Atour in Chongqing, and it was absolutely the right choice; the overall experience exceeded my expectations! I'm quite particular about hotel cleanliness, and Atour, being under HUAZHU Group, definitely lived up to its reputation. Every corner of the room was spotless. It even came with a tea set and a mini-fridge. The scenic bathtub in the bathroom was sparkling clean, and all the towels were individually sealed. Atour's bedding is a standout feature, and their deep-sleep pillows gave me a truly restful night's sleep. The facilities are a huge plus. The hotel has two dedicated elevators, so there's no waiting in line during peak morning and evening hours, which was incredibly convenient. The high-altitude lobby boasts panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an expansive 270-degree view that feels open and airy. The book bar area, with its lush greenery and bookshelves, is both quiet and perfect for photos. I booked a river-view room, and the view was simply divine. The massive floor-to-ceiling window directly overlooks the Dongshuimen Bridge and the Jialing River. Right by the window is a scenic bathtub, allowing you to soak while gazing down at the river, bridge, and traffic—the ambiance is incredible. The room also features a trendy bubble swing chair and a cozy lounge area, making it feel just like home. The mini-bar includes a capsule coffee machine, a full tea set, and complimentary bottled water – the attention to detail is truly thoughtful. Hotel amenities are comprehensive: there's a bar with live singers where guests receive a free cocktail upon check-in; a buffet breakfast, a 24-hour self-service laundry room, and a gym are all available. From 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, they even offer a late-night congee service. All sorts of convenient services are covered, and you can even book airport pick-up in advance. Furthermore, the staff were consistently gentle and attentive. Check-in was very efficient, and they proactively provided sightseeing routes for Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and Raffles. Any requests were addressed promptly, without any perfunctory responses, making for a very comfortable service experience. The location is impeccable, right next to the subway station, allowing for direct walks to all the popular attractions. It’s incredibly convenient for sightseeing and dining. The guest rooms are on higher floors, ensuring good soundproofing. You can enjoy the entire mountain city at night right from the hotel – truly an excellent experience. Everything from dining to accommodation and transportation is handled seamlessly. The river view, cleanliness, and service are all top-notch. If you're looking for a river-view room in Chongqing, I genuinely recommend this place. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit the mountain city!

My overall stay at Atour Hotel Jiefangbei was fantastic! The bedding was soft and comfortable, perfect for a good rest after a long day of walking. The room had great views, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a wonderful ambiance overlooking Chongqing's river scenery. The breakfast buffet had a rich variety of options and the taste was spot on, especially the local specialty, Douhua (tofu pudding), which you could have sweet or savory – super authentic. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around and shopping.

The room was very clean, and it's super close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. The lobby view is also really nice.

The hotel is located in a prime area with convenient transportation. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the service is attentive and meticulous. Due to a flight delay, I didn't arrive until 5 AM, but the front desk staff thoughtfully extended my check-out time until 6 PM. It was a very satisfying stay!

Facilities: The hotel amenities are perfect, and having an on-site parking lot is super convenient. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: You can enjoy the city night view. Service: The staff are very attentive and even upgraded me to a larger twin room.

Atour is perfect for family trips. The rooms are spacious with a sofa bed in the living area, allowing everyone to have their own space and sleep soundly. Breakfast is also delicious. It's super convenient to get to Raffles City downstairs, and ordering takeout is easy. The laundry service is incredibly fast. Both the rooms and the lobby offer unbeatable river views, especially beautiful at night. The two dedicated elevators are quick. You can even enjoy a cocktail while admiring the river view in the evening – the scenery is truly stunning.

I came to Chongqing for a cruise and arrived a day early to explore. I booked this hotel through Trip.com, searching for options around the Raffles City/Jiefangbei area. The hotel staff even called me a day before arrival to confirm details. The service was excellent; the staff were all very enthusiastic and responsive to requests, which is why I'm taking the time to leave a review. The location is also great, near Exit 4B of Xiaoshizi Metro Station, and close to Raffles City, Hongyadong, and other attractions. It's just been incredibly hot lately...
