Chongqing Tianlai Yunyun High-altitude River View Hotel (Jiefangbei Raffles City Branch)

Absolutely blown away by the 270-degree river view! The panoramic, unobstructed vista offers breathtaking sights of the two rivers converging and the city skyline. The room is incredibly bright, creating an amazing ambiance. It was spotless and meticulously clean, with great attention to detail, making for a truly comfortable and reassuring stay. The bed was just the right firmness, and I slept soundly until morning. The blackout curtains worked perfectly, so I wasn't woken by the early light. The location is superb, close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, making sightseeing and getting around incredibly easy. If you're looking for a place to stay in Chongqing, you can't go wrong with this one – it's a guaranteed hit!

The LOFT layout is spacious and open, with two floors separating the active and quiet areas. You can sleep upstairs and watch movies downstairs without disturbing each other, yet still be together – it's such a comfortable setup. The super large projector has a clear picture, and watching movies with the lights off at night creates an amazing ambiance. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the stunning river scenery, beautiful both day and night. The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. I didn't even want to leave the room! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing!

Came to Chongqing with my best friend and blindly chose this room type, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! The LOFT's split-level design is very stylish. We could chat downstairs in the living room and sleep upstairs, which offered great privacy – it really felt like a tranquil escape in the midst of the hustle and bustle. The projector in the room was a brilliant touch; we loved watching variety shows on it while having late-night snacks. The location is right above Metro Line 1, making it super convenient to go shopping at Jiefangbei.

Waking up to eat hot 'xiaomian' by the window, watching the boats drift through the misty river, made me feel completely refreshed. The name 'Floating Clouds and River Reflections' is so fitting; the view of the river intertwining with the city lights is truly dreamy. The room facilities are very new, and the projector meant I could enjoy entertainment without even leaving the room at night. It was incredibly spacious for one person, and the hotel's location is superb, with direct access to Metro Line 1 downstairs. It's only about a ten-minute stroll to Hongyadong. If you're looking for a place in Chongqing where you can enjoy stunning views and some solitude, this is definitely the place.

I extended my business trip by an extra day to explore Chongqing, and this hotel was perfect for my 'work-and-play' type of travel. I read reviews before coming, and everyone said Chongqing is a mountain city and walking is exhausting. So I specifically chose this hotel because the reviews mentioned 'no hills to climb.' And it's true! The subway entrance is right downstairs, and the main road is right outside. I completely avoided the nightmare of dragging luggage up stairs. The hotel itself is on a high floor with an open view. I spent some time watching the night view from the window when I got back in the evening and noticed that Raffles City's lights stay on very late.
