It seamlessly blends the consistent quality expected from an IHG property with the distinctive vibrant and lively spirit of the VOCO brand. **Location & View:** The hotel is strategically located in the heart of Chaotianmen. From my window, I had a stunning view of the converging Yangtze and Jialing rivers, with the iconic Raffles City sail-shaped towers seemingly within reach. Stepping out, I was right at the metro station, and both Jiefangbei and Hongyadong were within walking distance. This made exploring the mountain city and enjoying its nightscapes incredibly convenient and truly impressive. **Room & Sleep:** The bedding was a real highlight – the fabric was incredibly soft and gentle on the skin, like sleeping on a cloud, with just the right amount of support. I woke up feeling completely refreshed. The toiletries had a pleasant, elegant scent and left my skin feeling hydrated, a testament to the attention to detail. **Cleanliness & Service:** The room was spotless; every nook and cranny reflected IHG's rigorous standards. The service team was warm and helpful without being intrusive. From arrival to departure, every smile felt genuinely sincere, and they were always ready to assist. A special shout-out to the front desk lady who kindly upgraded my room – that was a truly thoughtful gesture. **Breakfast & Dining:** Breakfast was a culinary delight. The Chongqing pea noodles (Wan Za Xiao Mian) and spicy chicken noodles (La Zi Ji Xiao Mian) were incredibly flavorful, spicy, and fragrant with rich broth – one bowl was enough to invigorate me for the day in this mountain city. The Western pastries, salads, and fruits were also excellent, catering to both Eastern and Western tastes, ensuring variety even for a multi-day stay. **Facilities & Value for Money:** The hotel is well-equipped with a laundry room, gym, and bar. Enjoying a drink in the evening while watching the lights gradually illuminate across the two rivers was incredibly relaxing. Given the prime location, stunning views, and high quality, the value for money here is outstanding. In essence, this is a hotel where you can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep while fully embracing the vibrant energy of Chongqing. Whether for business or leisure, it's an absolute must-stay.

The hotel rooms are designed like apartments, and the facilities are quite good. It's right opposite Raffles City and the InterContinental Hotel. Downstairs is Chaotianmen Metro Station on Line 1, so the hotel's location is excellent.

My overall stay was excellent! The room was clean and quiet, and the front desk service was very attentive. It offered great value for money. The location is superb, with plenty of dining options and convenient transportation nearby.

Location: Right in the heart of Chaotianmen, directly opposite Raffles City. It's incredibly close to the subway station! Seriously, you walk out the door and you're in the station in five seconds. Line 1 is gold, as anyone who knows it will tell you – every stop is a tourist attraction. Chaotianmen is just across the street, and a right turn takes you to the Two Rivers cruise. You can even walk to Hongyadong. Facilities: I was initially a bit worried that voco might be sharing a building with others, but once inside, I discovered voco has its own three exclusive elevators. The elevator interiors are just as pictured, solely for voco guests. They're quick, quiet, and safe. The rooms are spacious, utilizing a lot of open-plan design, and the decor is young and vibrant. The full smart home system is a huge plus. The amenities are really thoughtful – four different tea flavors, a three-in-one charging cable, and even a shoe-shine cloth. Dining: The standard breakfast options were decent, but what really stood out was how fresh the ingredients were. The hotel put a lot of effort in, with little surprises every day like cotton candy, red bean soup, panda egg tarts, and even football-themed character interactions. In-room dining is available, and the prices are very reasonable for room service. The welcome fruit was also super fresh! Service: This deserves special praise. The whole hotel gives off a relaxed, lively vibe, and the team works together really well. The owner is also very generous. Requests for extra toothbrushes/bathrobes were met in seconds, and the housekeeping staff cleaned the room impeccably every day. No matter when or where I encountered any staff member, they always greeted me with incredible energy and cheerfulness. When sharing an elevator, they'd always hold the door for guests, ask if they were going to a public area, and let them exit first. The breakfast/afternoon tea staff were also super friendly, and the owner is truly generous. I had two small children with me, and the room rate only included two breakfasts. I nervously asked how much it would cost to add an extra person (PTSD from my last stay!). The server said they'd ask if adding another adult could be complimentary. I was so surprised I quickly said no need, no need. This was a world of difference compared to a certain long-standing five-star hotel in Chengdu where they measured children's height with a ruler. Other: The laundry room was well-stocked with laundry bags, and even had a sewing kit. The restaurant provided dental floss instead of toothpicks – a testament to their attention to detail. If you're debating between Chaotianmen and Jiefangbei, I can personally confirm that Chaotianmen is the way to go. It's the subway's starting station, so you always get a seat no matter where you're going. A very satisfying stay, truly excellent value for money. The awards in the lobby are well-deserved.

The hotel's location is decent, offering views of the cruise ships sailing on the two rivers. The three elevators go directly to the lobby, so there's no need to squeeze into crowded lifts. The hotel breakfast is just average, nothing particularly abundant, and the quality of the afternoon tea is simply not worth mentioning. As for the hotel service and room facilities, words fail me... On July 3rd, upon checking in, the hotel receptionist informed us that three out of our four rooms had not yet been cleaned and couldn't provide a specific time for completion (possibly not until 4 or 5 PM). Seriously, is this a reasonable check-in time? After some back and forth, they reluctantly assigned us two rooms temporarily so we could drop off our luggage and rest. Upon entering room 1730, a strong sewer smell filled the entire space. Opening windows and spraying air freshener did little to help, so I had to resort to a crude method: placing a plastic bag filled with water over the drain. Using the hairdryer was another ordeal; the plug socket was inconveniently located inside a covered box on the side of the vanity, requiring me to stoop down to plug in the hairdryer. (I have photos). Room 1731 was even more ridiculous. The showerhead fell off as soon as I turned on the water (luckily, I reacted quickly and wasn't hit). I escaped one disaster only to face another: the marble countertop of the vanity came crashing down, hitting my arm and leaving a bruise. Thankfully, it wasn't my foot, and thankfully, it wasn't a small child's hand or foot... Although hotel staff came to inspect the scene, moved us to another room, and provided Yunnan Baiyao spray, the check-in experience was simply terrible. What's even stranger is that when we returned that night, room 1730 was occupied again. The hotel truly has 'guts.' Aren't they afraid another marble slab might fall and injure someone? Not to mention, the room card for 1731 was still in my 1730 room. Upon checking out on the 5th, the front desk staff showed absolutely no expression or offered any words. The two rooms downstairs, 1630 and 1631, were just as bad as room 1730...

The room was clean and tidy, and the lobby service was excellent. You get a direct view of Raffles City, and the location is simply unbeatable. There are tons of food options, and the subway entrance is right downstairs, making transportation incredibly convenient.

First, the pros: the location is indeed excellent, making food delivery very convenient. The hotel also upgraded my room and allowed for a late check-out for free. However, everything else was a letdown. The 13th-floor check-in lobby offered zero service – no one to help with luggage or provide any guidance. The room design was also very disappointing, giving off a cheap, plastic feel like a budget hotel. Then there's the TV casting – no mirroring! No mirroring! No mirroring! Third-party app casting only offered 720p resolution, which was completely useless. Initially, I couldn't even find my room's Wi-Fi. When I called the front desk, they said I could connect to other rooms' Wi-Fi, but then casting required connecting to *my* room's Wi-Fi... When I was leaving, I ordered food delivery. While I was still in the room and hadn't checked out yet, the hotel told the delivery driver that I had checked out, so the food couldn't be delivered... In summary, this is the worst five-star hotel I've ever stayed in.

The hotel is right above Line 1 of the subway, and it's very close to Chaotianmen Plaza, so the transportation is quite convenient. The rooms are pretty standard. They do deliver food right to your room. However, it's really inconvenient if you're driving. The parking is in the underground garage of the mall next door, and the hotel's directions to the specific parking area were extremely hard to follow, with no clear signs. After parking, you have to go up to the second floor, then switch to the hotel's elevator. The biggest issue is that once you register your car for exit, you only have 15 minutes to leave, which is very inconvenient, and it's easy to miss that window even if you rush.

Really great! The location is excellent, with convenient transport links. The view from the higher floors isn't amazing, but the breakfast and other services are top-notch. I'd definitely consider staying here again. Thumbs up!
