Local hotel, many tour bus with old people smoking in the rooms, cold weather no Aircond as they switch off central AC… so far service is very good

This is an excellent hotel. Great location and great service. They work hard to appease the customers by providing free fish-head meals, afternoon fruits, and good-night sweet soups everyday. Moreover, the fish-head meals taste really good - not what you would expect for “free” food.

As the hotel indicated, the hotel bus leaving from the HSR stops at the hotel. It is also a few bus stops from the tourist pier where all ferry and boat tours begin. The service of the hotel is commendable. A female staff (who looks like a supervisor) at the counter was most helpful. She offered good advice and helped us with the luggage. It was also very thoughtful of the hotel to offer free sweet congee which was delivered to our room after dinner. The hotel room is very comfortable. We were upgraded to a lake view room which was very appreciated. Overall, we have had a very happy stay at the hotel.

The hotel was clean and the service was good.They explain everything in English when we arrived.The breakfast was good.The hotel is next to Qiandao lake.I will come again. I recommend people to use this hotel.

This hotel has a great location. I stayed here on my first night in Qiandao Lake. It's right next to Fish Street, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. There are many other hotels nearby, and this one offers good value for money, although prices tend to go up during the summer. The room was quite spacious, with a balcony offering partial lake views. The room was very clean. The front desk service was excellent; they brought us chilled mung bean soup and were very welcoming. They also helped me find my lost belongings at the hotel.

Located right on Fish Street, it's very convenient for dining out in the evenings, and there's a supermarket across the street. Although it's a lake-view room, the lake view is limited (see P1). Breakfast is quite crowded between 7 and 8 am, with many tour groups, so you'll need to find a spot yourself. It gets much better after 8:30 am. Takeout cannot be delivered to the room; you'll need to go downstairs to pick it up yourself. There's a designated table for takeout.

Facilities: Is the soundproofing different in each room? We booked two rooms, one for myself and one for my parents. When I was sleeping in my room until 4 AM, for some reason, one person in the next room was basically performing a monologue, while the other was just laughing. The walls between my room and mine must be made of plywood! This was truly the worst soundproofing I've ever encountered while traveling! It caused me to not get a good night's sleep on the first night. Secondly, there were far too few tissues provided in the room. The room was also poorly lit; it was too dark. There should have been a desk lamp; it was very inconvenient.
