My experience at this hotel was lovely. The area where it is located is enchanting, and the hotel had such a warm and cosy atmosphere. I had been traveling for a while by the time I arrived, so I was grateful for some proper rest. On my first night, I had dinner at the hotel and it was delicious — a recommendation from Ana, who works at reception. She was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my entire stay. Lucas from Portugal, who also works there (please forgive me if I got your name wrong 🥲), was always attentive and helpful as well. Chatting with both of them was a real pleasure and made my stay even better.
The breakfast was also very good, and on my first morning, August 30th, I had to leave before breakfast time. The lady in the kitchen opened the dining room a bit earlier so I could grab something to take away — such a thoughtful gesture. If you need to leave early and can't stay for breakfast, just inform the receptionist the evening before and they can arrange something for you. They also have an iron available for guests, which I really appreciated.
The only downside was that on 31st July and 1st August, the lady in charge of breakfast asked me to move to another table, even though she could see my dishes were already served. I had taken the only available table, but when a family arrived, she asked me to move elsewhere, which felt a bit inconsiderate — that kind of treatment shouldn't be given to guests. Even the family knew that wasn’t right so they sat at the spaces available. I hope this feedback can help them improve in that area 😊. Apart from that, everything was good.
