Dongbao Hotel

This four-star hotel in Chuxiong is a hidden gem, and I absolutely have to give it a full five-star review! There's plenty of parking, and the security guard was very conscientious. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt the thoughtful service. The concierge warmly guided me, and the front desk staff was meticulous in checking my needs during check-in – very professional! They specifically arranged a quiet room away from the elevator. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was excellent. There was an ample supply of drinking water, and the cleanliness standards were impeccable. I requested an extra blanket, and it was delivered to my room within minutes of my call. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh options, and the chef did a fantastic job. This is my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Great value for money! This hotel is super convenient, with a bus stop right downstairs that takes you to attractions like the Ancient Yi Town and Sun Calendar Park. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My room on the 3rd floor, facing the residential area, was a bit dim, but it had a nice little balcony with a rocking chair, which was a bonus. Overall, a good stay.

I booked Dongbao Hotel for the Lantern Festival. The hotel is newly renovated and luxurious, with complete facilities and equipment, simple and high-end. The Lantern Festival atmosphere is very strong, the service is very unique, and the hot dumplings were delivered to the room, which was very considerate ❤. The room is clean and odorless, the room soundproofing is very good, the zero-pressure mattress is soft and comfortable, and it was a very pleasant Lantern Festival night!
