Not sure why you would plop down a nice new hotel and put in air conditioners that sound like planes taking off. And it wasn’t just one room - it was both rooms of the suite, so I’m guessing that it was the same throughout the hotel. I was only able to sleep by wearing earplugs every night. It’s nice that the bedroom has a ceiling fan but the remote control didn’t work and when we called the desk to ask about it they said that it was impossible to have the light off and fan on at the same time. It’s either both on or both off. I suspect the person at the desk didn’t actually know what she was talking about but I never followed up. Rooms were certainly big enough, though not enormous. Bathrooms were functional. Breakfast was good, with some different options every morning. Pool looked very basic, workout room was ok but the floor was sticky and the laundry room did the job. As far as location goes that depends upon what you’re looking for. I wanted a hotel between downtown and the tennis center and that’s what I got. I wouldn’t typically want a hotel like this that is sitting in the middle of a mall, surrounded by chain restaurants, with nowhere interesting to walk, but many people might like this. I really only care about one thing in a hotel and that’s that it’s quiet enough to sleep and because of the air conditioning this hotel failed. I’d probably give it 2.5 stars if that were an option.

I am writing this review from the hotel lobby at 12:11am. I dropped my bags off at 2pm and was given a luggage tag and told my room would be ready shortly. I was told I would be called when my room was ready. It was confirmed and there was no question that I was here and ready to check in. I went on with my planned activities including my dinner plans and now coming back to the hotel have been told they have no room for me. I have never ever had such an experience. They have offered to relocate me to a hotel outside If Cincinnati. This was a quick vacation trip totally ruined by this hotel experience. Under no circumstances will I ever book this hotel chain again. They massively overbooked and have relocated many guests. I have been told on the side by a sympathetic employee that this is standard procedure. NEVER BOOK 21C!!!

I used to study at UC, and now I go back to school and feel that the change is still quite big. This hotel is newly built, the facilities are relatively new and very close to the school.

I just got back from a week stay. Overall it was a nice hotel and I would reccomend to anyone staying in the area. It was a short drive to King's Island, Cincinnati Zoo, Newport Aquarium, and other attractions. The hotel was very clean. The kids loved the pool. There was a cart with clean towels to use in the pool area, so no need to bring a towel. There is a washer and dryer across their hall from the pool. It was only $1.50 each. Breakfast was very good and had several hot and cold options. If anything ran low the employee quickly filled it back up. The one employee,I think her name was Cathy, was very friendly and my family looked forward to talking to her in the mornings. The downfalls to the hotel were that the walls are thin and we could hear the guests in the hallways and the people in the rooms beside us. Thankfully we had respectful guests beside us and they were quiet during the night. However if you need to sleep during the day I suggest bringing earplugs. At check in we were told they would clean our room on the 5th day. I understand because of Covid there isn't daily housekeeping. However, I think every five days is too long. We didn't have anyone clean our room during our stay. We were there from Sunday to Sunday. We had to stick our garbage and dirty towels in the hallway. Two different times during our stay we had to go to the front desk for toilet paper and clean towels. We also ran out of shampoo. Thankfully it was on the day we were leaving. Even though our stay wasn't perfect we would defiently stay again because of the employees and cleanliness of the hotel.

Cute decor. Prime location but basically no amenities. The gym and laundry are like micro rooms and it feels like people live there. The hotel has a strange aroma and smells like a nursing home. Also they don’t have room service, water bottles inside the room, and no vending machines for snacks or beverages. So if you’re hungry or thirsty in the middle of the night you’re on your own.
