I stayed at City Studios for one night over the weekend with my partner, and overall it was a good experience for the price.
Before we arrived, Leanne had cleaned the studio and it was very clean when we got there. The bedroom was spotless and the whole place felt well looked after. The kitchen area was also spacious and fully equipped, which made the stay comfortable and convenient.
One thing that was slightly confusing was the parking. When we arrived, we were told there is additional parking available but it costs £13 for stays over 13 hours. The app is a bit misleading because when you select the option it says “you will be charged when you leave.” My partner and I thought that meant we had already paid for the parking, but it actually only saved the card details rather than completing the payment. Once we realised it hadn’t gone through, we paid for the duration. The staff did mention that we could still get a ticket, so it would be helpful if the app wording was clearer to avoid that confusion.
Aside from that, the stay was good value for money. For £60 for one night, the studio was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Overall, I’d recommend it for a short stay.
