Not happy with Trip.com as when we reached hotel they made us wait for more than 1 hr and said no booking by my name, thn i wasted my money on international calls to Trip.com and after that issue got resolved and in return i got only 1500 points as an compensation... sad very sad for making ur client wait for more than hour and in return you get compensation as 1500 points

Keep in mind several of these issues are related to the fact that the hotel is understaffed. 1st, they don't always answer the phone (Both when you're staying at the hotel or just considering it) Here are a number of issues we faced during our stay, within the character limit. They increase the AC temp during night time in the summer ”to save power” although it's very hot (＞35 degrees celsius at night) We booked a presidential suite. We were told that the difference between it & an executive suite was that the presidential suite had a jacuzzi, so we figured why not. We were told on the phone that there was valet parking. This was not the case when we arrived. There was no valet parking. There was basement parking, which was a bit narrow/uncomfortable in certain spots but overall fine. Upon arrival, there was only 1 receptionist available. I suggest they hire 1-2 more to deal with customers checking in & out and with those who have questions & to pick up the phone. This poor single receptionist was printing papers, checking ID's, talking with 2 groups of customers checking in as well as a group checking out, answering phone calls, & opening/closing parking gates. The one good thing about our stay was his assistance - Leonardo, so I would like to thank him & I hope he gets a raise. After checking in, we went to our presidential suite. 1st impressions were positive at the beginning - it looked nice & I liked the blue carpet's colour & the paint was bright. However, after that, cracks started to appear in our view. The flat TV screen was small & ancient. It was also bolted in such a way that concealed the ports behind the TV. This led to our 1st negative interaction with maintenance & IT. The person who responded said they were in the process of getting new TVs & that only 2 in the entire hotel had an HDMI cable port. I knew that was false. He insisted. When I kept questioning him about it, he said he'd send someone to check it out. Leonardo the receptionist showed up along with the maintenance guy, & they both unscrewed a screw behind the TV to allow us to check behind it, where we saw there was indeed an HDMI cable & it worked. The bed's mattress was as hard as the floor. The pillows were meh. But the worst thing about the bedroom was this wind chime that was right in front of the A/C vents. I'm not sure what decor genius thought this was a good idea, because it was terrible. Every time we closed our eyes to sleep they would jingle & wake us up. Next, the bathrooms. There were 2, which was good, but one of them had a clogged up sink so the water rose quickly. The other bathroom with the jacuzzi & the shower had a broken heater. The false ceiling had markings of mould/humidity/leaking water & so on. The water coming from the jacuzzi was only lukewarm. It rendered the jacuzzi unusable. The water also had a funny green colour which made it seem unhealthy to use. We complained & after an adventure with the help of a security guy, the rec

Almost overall good , but while preparing check out in the early morning, a hot water pipe was broken nearby our rooms and could not take a proper shower to prepare for a long haul trip to Sydney :(.

100% do not book this hotel. The good reviews are fake. I am not even mentioning the rude no smile service as the reason. The actual property is faulty in every way UNLIVEABLE. The one asian lady staff is creepy not welcoming at-all. She makes you uneasy. Back to the room 1)room front door handles broken 2) bathroom door doesn’t shut also handle broken 3)extremely dirty window’s can’t see a thing 4)bathroom sink huge gushing leak every time you use the tap(the floor will flood) 5)extremely tiny rooms 6)awful cancellation policy. If you have booked a long stay and want to cancel anywhere in between looking at how unsafe and unhygienic this hotel looks. Then you will loose all of your booking money. Unlike other hotels where you get a refund of remaining nights that are 24 hours ahead. This hotel scams you writing free cancellation yet they know no one would like to stay after getting in and will cancel the rest of the stay do they make this impossible. Truly worst hotel in uae.

In December 2023, there was a road repair near the hotel. But at the same time there was a decent discount on accommodation. Overall I liked the hotel, it was clean, the staff was polite. Breakfast is good. But next to the hotel on the sea side there is some kind of factory on the shore. The sea is not particularly dirty, apart from some household garbage, but the proximity to a working factory is embarrassing...

Rest at the Al Hamra Hotel from 8 to 14 March 2020. Residents without deposit and money extortion, all honestly, politely Say that we enjoyed living in this hotel - not to say anything. Hotel without deposit, settled us in five minutes, gave a great 710 room. Staff is beautiful, no hint of hammock, always help, tell, show. Cleaning every day. Every day, they gave an individual set: shampoo, hygiene packets, shower gel, hairdress, toothbrush, toothpaste, vattock and discs, shower hat, toilet paper and loose. Every day they left two bottles of water for 0.5 litres. There was a sewing set in the room, a spoon for shoes, a sponge for the cleaning of shoes. Everything is chic. If you get mad - I will say that the safe didn't work. No one on the bags crawled, didn't try to extort the tips (though the maids deserve them, of course). The door opens at the hotel entrance. A little, but pleasant) Very beautiful lobby, pleasant smell, cleanliness and beauty. Thank you to all the staff! Thanks to such a convenient schedule we never missed dinner even from the longest tours. Nowhere else did they eat if the tours were free, they paid 60 dirhams for two and had dinner at the hotel restaurant. People from other hotels skipped their dinners and remained hungry, and here everything was done for the convenience of guests.
