The hotel is located in the middle of Maoxian city. There are few employees compared to the size of the hotel. Arrive at the hotel around three p.m. There is no staff to help carry the luggage, have to lift each other. The receptionist did not check the information well, saying that the room was not reserved. The result is that the staff are not thoughtful, do not look at the information. Some bathrooms on the floor do not flow. The water was almost flooded, had to call the staff to come and see. Some bathrooms, air conditioners leak, dripping into the things.

There were no rooms available at 10pm, so the hotel upgraded our room for free. The service was very considerate, the accommodation was very clean, and the house was well heated in winter.

This is certainly a retreat, it’s the most off the beaten track I’ve ever been in China. Situated in a beautiful valley next to a rushing river and pines. The rooms were clean and bright, and the common space was modern, including a large kitchen. Felt more like a home stay than a hotel, and ended up having a great night with the manager and another group of Chinese travelers. It is very far from the nearest main road, so getting there might be difficult if you don’t have a car. I would love to go again and explore the hills and the surrounding area more.
