Hornbill camp provides a fantastic ”glamping” experience on the banks of the Periyar river. The setting is truly stunning and makes up for some of the shortcomings of the resort. The food is average by South Indian resort standards, but at least the tea and coffee were very good. There is basically no WiFi (or very very slow) and no alcohol is served here due to local laws. The tents are a highlight though, with comfortable beds, (good) aircon and a fan, and a decent bathroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Overall Hornbill provides a good base from where to explore the surrounding areas and attractions.

Stayed for 4 days and guess what the front office staff was unresponsive room cleaning was not done when asked for cleaning then only they came , behaving in a rude manner the two girls in the front of the house were only chatting with each other no greeting or nothing being from a manager of taj green cove it's so pathetic to see this kind of hospitality being offered to us ,my mom and dad told they r charging 43 rs for a water bottle even for tea sachet and creamer ,I don't know the night shift guy was always sleeping in the lobby calling his girlfriend or somewhat ,really pissed of because my family was their I didn't spoked or created a scene their but believe me they are crap ,made my Kerala trip the worse in this journey ,if the CEO or Gm if this hotel is looking into it then do look this issue and hope u will refund my money ,because being from hospitality industry getting a baddest experience is something which I haven't thought of didn't even changed the bed cover ,smokey smell from room even the toilet was like someone pooped and it came on top I was the one who flushed that believe me if someone wants to stay peacefully in Kochi rather book Holiday inn

Overall ambiance and room quality were standard, the location was not good inside some colony the breakfast facility was pathetic, they had a limited stock to provide all guests, by 9:15 am all food was finished, staff told they have ordered it again which will get after 10:30 am

The hotel is situated very near to the city center and this is its major attraction. The rooms are somewhat spacious and well furnished. But some of the furniture fittings like bathroom door lock are worn out. The bathroom and accessories provided are good. The restaurant is a small one and caters only to the hotel guests. The food including breakfast buffet is basic but includes all varieties and is reasonably tasty. Food price is a premium, though. The hotel has a bar also - perhaps, a negative for those who do not use it. Overall, a good place for a short stay, especially if you are looking for basics and no luxuries.

Tissa’s Inn is in a lovely old area of Kochi. Sanitha went out of her way to helping us. I was unwell, and on the day before we arrived asked if we could have help sourcing a doctor. Everything was organised for us the next day, including a great local Tuk Tuk guy who walked us through the Indian hospital process to see the GP. Then, Sanitha jumped in and chased up our next day transfer who were being unresponsive. The hotel itself is beautiful and a great spot to base yourself out of for Fort Kochi.

Kerala is the first place we visited and I was incredibly impressed with how clean, safe and comfy the homestay was. It is in the perfect location, very short walking distance to Princess street. The hosts are incredibly friendly, they helped me with my washing and also made us two delicious homemade breakfasts. The air conditioning worked really well and there is also a fan. Will recommend this place to any traveller and I would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel near the airport. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The interiors and bathrooms were modern and well-maintained. Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel was calm and quiet, making it perfect for families. There are also some excellent restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast, though with limited options, was delicious. Highly recommended for a comfortable family stay!

GGuest UserGreat little hotel. The location is excellent (near the harbor and restaurants) and the staff was very helpful. Excellent value for the cost. Rooms were clean. I had a late evening flight and was allowed to stay in the room past regular checkout time. I also arrived in the middle of the night and there was a nice clerk available. Check-in was quick and I was able to go to sleep shortly after my arrival. I added an extra day to my stay here.

We selected the hotel because of its location on MG Road in the heart of Kochi. We found a modern hotel with old-world service. Every detail was carefully managed by the staff, including the twist of lime I preferred in my drinks. The hotel stay includes a breakfast buffet with traditional Kerala dishes and Western options.

You have everything inside the room.. a dining table, cozy couches, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a washing machine, an electrical induction cooker, cutlery crockery etc.. I stayed in an apartment with living room, kitchen, two TVs, Two air conditioners and a lot of space.. wonderful stay just few Kms away from the city.. highly recommend this place..

TTraveling TanSapphire Club Metro offers a convenient and comfortable stay, ideally situated in the heart of the city. The location serves as a perfect base for exploring, with some of the area's famed tourist attractions, such as the Chinese nets and Jew Town, being just a 30-minute ride away. Despite the central location, the rides to these destinations are surprisingly inexpensive, adding to the convenience of the stay.
Room 201, while directly facing a wall, surprisingly retains a bright and inviting atmosphere. Sapphire Club Metro was a good choice for my travels because I was seeking a blend of city life convenience with easy access to cultural and historical sites.

Rooms are comfortable but services were not good, no hot water, basic items are provided like water bottle, mugs, dustbin etc by asking specifically and it seems due to vacation season.
