Because I was considering eating and drinking on the island after I hit the road, I chose this high-end Italian brand. Sure enough, the Italian food lived up to expectations. The Italian bread at the buffet was delicious, and the ham, cheese, and pizza were all very good. The decoration style of this hotel is more Mediterranean style. The bathroom has a semi-open roof and good lighting. Don't worry, both the shower room and toilet have roofs. There are three restaurants in total, buffet, Italian restaurant (on the second floor of the swimming pool), and Japanese restaurant. Japanese food will be disappointing for Shanghai tourists. The sushi rice is like ice cubes, and the sashimi is just local tuna and salmon, with very few varieties. The Russians are said to be very happy. The advantage is that you can snorkel just outside the beach house, so you don’t have to spend money to go elsewhere. The disadvantage is that all the waiters, regardless of their yellow skin, speak English, and their service to Asians is obviously cold. On the contrary, the local waiters are very serious and run around before and after. It is customary to tip here, and no one will force you if you don't. I saw many foreigners tipping for breakfast. Bring $1-5 for this and just do as the Romans do. This hotel has an agreement with the seaplane company and requires flying to the island. There is a mandatory fee of US$480 per person. This should be taken into account within the budget.

Myself & my husband went for our honeymoon in November 2024. We had a wonderful time & were very pleased with our choice of island. This little island is simply stunning with plenty to see & do. When you arrive you are introduced to your own personal ambassador of whom does the general introduction of the island/hotel etc & checks in on you throughout your stay to ensure you are happy/your stay is running smoothly etc, numbers are exchanged & additionally, you can download the hotels app & this is where you can see your daily activities, for instance, your upcoming restaurant bookings & excursions etc, we found this rather good/handy. Personally, we enjoyed snorkelling, the excursion choices, watersports, the gym, spa, walking around the island enjoying the gardens/wildlife/beach, there are little flightless birds which are sweet walking around & you can feed bread, lizards, hermit crabs, the fruit bats I was blown away by they are beautiful. The food/drinks in the restaurants are spoilt for choice, bar service is great, & they have some games of pool/ping pong & volleyball to enjoy. They play relaxing music around the bar/pool areas/restaurants & some evenings have live entertainment & bands. The vibe is very relaxed & I love how if you don't wish to wear any sort of footwear you don't have to as clean golden soft sand is everywhere. We also loved feeding the fishes, they love bread so ensure to get some & see how beautiful they are & come alive at night over the jetty. There are also no nats/mosquitos. The hotel is very clean/relaxing, the rooms are beautiful, we stayed in the dolphin villas of which is located in the lagoon, every day we went snorkelling, the marine life is simply out of this world on your doorstep, we saw different breeds of sharks such as lemon, white tip, black tip, turtles, puffer fish, parrot fish, sting-rays etc, the best way to describe it is like the film ”Finding Nemo”. On our private scuba/snorkelling trip, we saw giant manta rays, spotted rays, dolphins & turtles, but sadly no luck of the whale sharks as they dived too deep before we could reach them. We also visited a tiny remote island of which we got to explore by ourselves it was amazing, we also visited a non-torist island which was a good experience & tried some of the local food. The staff are so accommodating/friendly & polite, everyone ranging from the waiters/waitresses, boat staff, barmen, chefs, gardeners, cleaners, managers, spa staff, diver/lifeguards/water sports staff, literally, everyone will wish you good morning/afternoon/evening acknowledging you as you cross paths/indulge in a friendly conversation, I found this lovely. Tips: Ensure to take plenty of spending money if you wish to do excursions or some watersports as expectedly it is expensive. We are both ex-smokers, however, did decide to have a smoke on holiday. The island is a little small, the environment is ok, the service needs to be improved, and the bad thing is that the water in the room is the lowest price mineral water in the ordinary bottle. We also pay for the water of the voss. If you look down the date, it is a month. It’s expired, and many things in the hotel are expiring soon. This shouldn’t be the international brand hotel. Another Fairmont room has all the water voss available for free...

The whole trip was not very satisfying. First, the seaplane time I requested is at noon on the 22nd, so that I can have a half-day tour of Male. As a result, I was arranged for an early morning seaplane. The hotel said that because the time of the seaplane is not under their control, and the time of the next day's seaplane will only be known after 6pm before 1 day .Second, I don’t know whether the lock of my luggage was broken by the seaplane staff or the resort staff.
