We had rooms with a whirlpool, a beautifully landscaped garden, 2 pools with loungers, one with a children's section and a sandy bottom, feels good, order towels from the lobby, good breakfast, parking available, owners have a few friendly pet dogs, mainly collies and huskies, very nice staff, hair dryer, kettle in the room, fast WLAN, large flat screen TV, what I didn't like was that the water outlet on washing facilities and whirlpool was too short, no cupboard, table and armchair, there is a sideboard, but you have to sit on the floor, put the whirlpool into operation for the time being, we had deposits in the nozzles, 2nd pass OK, beach and various restaurants are about 150m away, on the whole satisfactory

I stay in rainy Season for4 nights I book without breakfast Hotel very good near place that I wanna go ,the prices just on point ,women staff quiet friendly actually ,the room is alright, one thing I will say is the elevator is very old and smell other than that nothing to complain about

The room was clean and hygienic. There were not many types of breakfast, but the taste was good, especially the bread, which was baked and delivered the previous afternoon and was very fragrant. The coffee quality was also very good. The bad part was the swimming pool, which showed no signs of maintenance and was very unhygienic.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the Ploy Sea a couple of weeks ago for 3 nights. The hotel was fairly quiet and so they very kindly upgraded our room to a sea view. Staff were very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. In particular a lady who worked on the front desk called Ratchadaporn. She was amazing and helped us so much. The food in the restaurant was a good standard with plenty of choice and the sea front was just idillic. Looking forward to returning again soon.

GGuest UserThe hotel has mini villa type rooms, each with a good-sized balcony to enjoy the beautiful foliage planted all around. The rooms are large, airy, sp****, and super clean. Bathroom size is good too, and all amenities are provided. The bed is one of the softest ones I've ever slept on. Absolutely loved it! Check-in and check-out was smooth, the staff is warm. There's a shortcut which takes you to the main Sai Kaew Beach in a minute's walk. It is also easily walkable (15 mins) from the main ferry pier (Nuan Thip). The hotel did not have a restaurant yet (which we knew before booking), but I did see some construction going on, so they could be adding one in the future, But there's plenty of restaurants on the beach, so no worries there. We had an immensely satisfactory and comfortable stay. Would recommend to all travelers.

GGuest UserNice little hotel we stayed in the down stairs room no window and shower over toilet,the owner has spent a lot of money on this place tiling in shower to a very high standard, did have one concern didn’t see a smoke alarm and not having a window and walkway to get out was a bit scary, also if someone is in the loft room with kids above you there is a lot of noise, we had to get up first night to tell them to keep the noise down.

KKiwimark2015We stayed for 4 nights here. The location was pretty good and we were right on a beach, which made it nice for swimming. They do have a great pool too. It wasn't overly busy when we were there. But there were large groups coming and going, but they weren't that noisy. The breakfast is basic, but you do get to sit out and have a fantastic view looking out over the bay. The only problem I really had with our stay was the tap water, there was a slight discoloration. I didn't drink from the tap anyways and also had bottled water. It is relatively private too. Our room was spacious enough and we could sit outside on the balcony. For me it was relaxing and in a good location. The staff were very friendly and happy to help.

The only issue I had was I booked a room that showed a balcony in the photos but on check-in, the room was without a balcony. They said it was an issue with trip loading the wrong pictures. A bit deceptive.

GGuest UserFirst, I chose Koh Samet because I asked a local Thailand friend which island has not been overdeveloped since my early days coming to Thailand in the 1990s. His response was ”head to Koh Samet”. I looked for a value hotel on one of the more southern, less developed beaches which led me to Wong Duean Bay and the Vongdeuan Resort. The pool was a big draw. With the low tide being pretty extreme, it is really nice to have the salt water pool to cool off in and swim laps. The food seemed pretty authentic to me. With mainly Thai visitors coming in on the weekends it figures the food would be good at the Vongdeuan Resort. :) The staff were wonderful and always so fun to share a story or two with. The beach area all along the bay was extremely clean with no plastic on the beach or garbage in the water. This is a big plus when going to the shore in SE Asian countries. There are several beach restaurants but none of them had loud music, at least during the weekdays when I was there. It is definitely a sleepy and peaceful place to enjoy the water at high tide as well as the white sand beach for walks.

GGuest UserI dont know how this place is when its more people here and no covid situation but at this time I love this place. Clean beUtiful beach with a nice home reef just outside. There are just enough sunchairs so the beach does not feel cluttered. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. You can borrow both snorkeling gear and kayaks. The food in the restaurant tastes great and just a small walk away is a minimart and a bigger beach with more restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean and well kept. There are also alot of small details that Inreally love they thought about like a flashlight in every room if you want to go out when its dark. Hairbands for the forgetfull girlfriend in the free toiletrees. A beachbag marked with your roomnumberbto bring stuff in to the beach. I warmly recomend this place. Clean friendly and relaxing. I will gladly come back.

GGuest Userhad an absolutely lovely time staying at this hotel albeit the fact it’s 20-mins walk from the pier and another added 10-min walk to the beach area. but this made me make full use of enjoying the room, pool, and some of the bar’s food, and doing nothing and be in the moment love the studio room for it’s size- felt like home away from home. had a beautiful view overlooking the pool as well. only downside is that somehow mosquitoes manage to enter the room even though windows and doors are closed! but they are easy to kill so it’s okay. staff are friendly; will come back to stay again if i ever return!

GGuest UserThis is a very nice accommodation , consisting of a a main open alley with rooms on each side of the hall way , there is a reception area which sell drinks and at the end of the short alleyway there is a lovely cafe which sell fruit, coffees, smoothies , juices , and croissants and various toasts topped with fruit etc and they sell a nice burger and chips also, this is on the beach with loungers and bean bags and other options if you want to stay off the sand , some of the staff are friendly and smiley and some are not. the rooms are cleaned when requested no problem just leave your key at reception, the location is ideal , 5 minute walk to 7/11 and the village , I have to say this accommodation is idyllic with its thatch roofs and minimalistic style , I loved it here and I will stay here again , the only negative I had about the place is they didn’t clean the rubbish from the beach , the beach is the reason we go here … only 1 or 2 businesses on this beach clean the rubbish regularly , all the others do not clean up and it is unsightly , all the businesses on this island should all make sure it is clean all of the time .

NN6523FP_Better to overpay than to breathe.. I will say at once, almost the entire hotel was free, traveled outside the season. First we were settled in room C11 , the smell of the spleen, the mini-mini room, all old and a number of repair works. We went to the respiratory, asked to change the room, gave us E11, it looked much better) but an hour later, dogs came to us and they ended up with us for 3 days, they went out at night, chewed, scratched. In principle, coming to the room, we immediately understood, that not just the furniture was worn. On the trail of the day, right under our window, they set fire, we were breathing, all night sleeping in Gary, TC winding that smell was impossible, smelled everything, clothes, hair) well, And in the morning all the repair works were suddenly moved to our house ... We went to friends to the nearby silver send, I will tell you so, the difference is huge and the attitude to people is different ... so if you don't want to spoil the holiday, it is better to overpay a little.
