Carmel-By-The-Sea
旅旅者无疆Backed by the hillside, facing the blue sea, with fine white sandy beaches, canopies of trees and flowers, the artistic Carmel is more spacious than the exquisite towns in Europe.
Bohemian style architecture, a place where artists gather, Zhang Daqian also lived here, a coastal town with only more than 4,000 residents, life is too comfortable.
Cliffs on the left hand and the Pacific Ocean on the right hand. In August 2016, I drove along California Highway 1 and stayed in Carmel Town for 2 days at the famous 17 Mile Road. It was the best memory of my first overseas self-driving tour.

Carmel Monastery was founded in 1770 and is the second Spanish monastery established by Spanish colonists in the province of Upper California. It is very close to the Monterey coast and is a must-see attraction for self-driving tours on Highway 1 in the United States.
Thanks to the support of the majority of believers and even all walks of life, the monastery is now very well preserved, still retaining its original appearance 250 years ago, and authentically showing the appearance of early missionaries' monastic life and life. Today, it is still a "popular" Catholic holy place, and religious activities such as worship, prayer and marriage are held regularly.
For tourists, this place integrates religion, history, art and culture. It is an important monument with great attractions and a very beautiful humanistic classic. The monastery is a typical Moorish building, very similar to the buildings in southern Spain, North Africa and other regions. The altar and doors and windows in the nave of the monastery, several auditoriums, and outdoor courtyards are all very beautiful and photogenic.
The tourist shop in the monastery is also worth a visit, and there are many interesting souvenirs to buy.
Point Lobos State Natural Reserve
DDEAR张小球A very beautiful place, take Highway 1 and pass here, it happens to be a town, dinner is eaten in the restaurant here. By the way, the scenery is particularly good, there are not many people, and it is particularly quiet and comfortable.
Sunset Center
MM32***23We’ve been in Carmel for some time, but never noticed who’s performing at the Sunset Cultural Center...until May 2015, we noticed that one of our favorite actors was going to be in Carmel, so we decided to schedule our trip so we could attend the concert. What a great decision! Of course we had many regular Carmel events, but the most happy was the sunset center experience! Please find a concert when you next visit the seaside of Carmel and include it in your tour plan!
