City Express Junior by Marriott Ciudad Juarez Consulado

City Express Junior by Marriott Ciudad Juarez Consulado

Ciudad Juarez|3.61km from city center
Let me start with the water! It smells horrible makes it so uncomfortable to even want to shower. Wifi is so bad, breakfast is okay . Only one elevator works and their transit vans staff claims doesn’t work to avoid taking guests to their appointments. Rooms are very small and sheets smell horrible as well had so many hair and stains, they don’t care about their guests only their money . If they did they would fix all these issues to insure everyone’s wellbeing and comfort . Only true benefit is you are right across from the consulate, we definitely did not renovate our stay here and went to the Hampton which ended up being cheaper and has a pool and gym along with breakfast. Also washer and dryer don’t work either !

I was celebrating the “official” end of this cursed COVID pandemic with a biketour into MAGNIFICENT MEXICO, 10-13MAY2023. Specifically, I entered this fascinating country on 11MAY2023 at the Ft. Hancock-el Porveñir POE, cycling across the dry riverbed of the Rio Bravo/Rio Grande to user-friendly Ruta Dos. My route was straightforward: stay NW-bound from el Porveñir on the only all-weather road that paralleled the exotic river/boundary, passing through several communities, Including Praxedis G. Guerrero/Cazeta/Juárez y Reforma/San Agustín, before entering Cd. Juárez. In that massive/thriving community, my goal was simple: get to my reserved HOTEL MARIPINA before Sunset. I was already rather familiar with Cd. Juárez from many visits over many years, using different modes of travel, most often by bicycle. Now that I’ve “aged out” and require eHelp from an electric PAS, that meant overnighting in a motel where I can recharge the eBatteries in a ground-level (no longer do I have the strength to carry/drag a loaded bike up or down stairs!) room. The HOTEL MARIPINA was perfect! Room 108 had two queen beds, TV, full bathroom, lots of space, but no microwave nor mini-fridge—which makes sense because there is an attached restaurant. This was a tremendous unexpected bonus because both nights (11-12MAY2023) I overnighted here, it was SO EASY for me to have a delicious brekkie and NOT go out looking for food. All of the personnel, both at the front desk/kitchen, are extremely friendly and professional. I felt very welcomed, and definitely look forward to returning! This fine overnightery has my coveted “iWheel of Approval!”

Upon arrival had problems with TV but problem was fixed within two minutes. Also had problems with getting in the room due to bad key lock but again got fixed very quick. Cleaning staff and maintenance was very polite and very helpful. Highly recommend.
Courtyard Ciudad Juarez

OK folks. So, Juarez is weird. Stay at this hotel and you won't be sorry. We started out at a neighboring hotel and let's just say it was GROSS. The Courtyard is - of course - ideal for business travelers but it suited our needs perfectly. So glad we moved. The location makes it nice for anyone with business at the US consulate. There's a nice lobby and restaurant, with amazing staff, and that makes it a great place to while away hours awaiting consulate BS. Please don't stay at ANY of those yucky places closer to the consulate. YOU'RE WELCOME, no seriously guys I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Those other places are NASTY. The Courtyard is clean, hip, convenient, spacious. No need to look elsewhere!
Real Inn Ciudad Juarez by the USA Consulate

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a discounted rate through a friend, for a total of 8 days and 7 nights. We had adjoining rooms which was very convenient and fun. We felt safe on the fourth floor however our rooms were right next to the elevators and once a big group of kids/adults checked in the noise level went up. You can hear slamming of doors. We requested that maintenance unclog the sink in one of our bathrooms but they never did and it was pretty nasty to have the water never fully drain correctly. One of the rooms had a light fixture go out and start smoking but maintenance did come for that and made sure it was safe. The breakfast that is offered downstairs is overpriced with limited selection. The beds were comfy but the pillows were too soft/small for our liking. The room service is convenient and great customer service, really elevated the hotel experience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider this location in the future.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites CD. Juarez - Las Misiones

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. Ironically, my only comment would be on the bathroom grid doors. In my case, in addition to heavy, grids to move them are not so functional and it makes it difficult just that, grab the door to move them. In and by the way everything is very good and functional.

Overrall the property was well kept. Entrance to the hotel is kind of tricky as it appears after a curb and if you dont pay attention you miss it. The parking area was nice and convenient. Front office personnel was friendly and welcoming. There is not enough dishes, its on a first come basis. Pastries were good and so was the coffee. The room was presentable, only issues floor was a little dirty and the towel hooks were broken. And even though it does state room is not completely cleaned each day, only bed is made and trash is thrown it done happen each day.
